Hillary Clinton triggered by Elon Musk’s Taylor Swift joke
Elon Musk has skyrocketed to the top of the establishment’s enemies list.
Not only did he purchase Twitter away from the Deep State-controlled old regime, he published the Twitter Files, which exposed disturbing collusion between the social media platform and alphabet agencies.
Ever since then, Musk has persistently been attacked by the Left.
Hillary Clinton is the latest establishment player to denounce Musk, this time for a joke.
After the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, pop megastar Taylor Swift endorsed Harris in a manner that almost seemed coordinated.
Swift is a Democrat who has made political endorsements before, so it comes as no surprise.
She signed off her endorsement with the line “Childless Cat Lady,” which was a dig at Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).
In response to her snarky sign-off, Musk joked, “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
The joke triggered many on the Left, including Clinton.
She called Musk “rotten and creepy” and said that his joke was “kind of another way of saying rape I think.”
That is a truly despicable comment from Clinton, especially considering all of the credible accusations against Bill Clinton.
She added, “I can’t understand why he says what he says. It just is beyond my imagination I can’t understand why he says what he says. It just is beyond my imagination. For the so-called masters of the universe in the technology world, misogyny is such a part of their worldview, and they gravitate toward toughness and brutality and masochism. And here’s Taylor Swift, a self-made billionaire who brings joy to people and who imparts life lessons, particularly to girls and women. They can’t stand it.”
Musk’s joke somehow turned into “rape” and “misogyny.”
This is how the Left now attacks Musk.
Attacks on Musk part of a grander plan
The whole strategy is to assassinate his character nonstop like they have done with Trump.
That lays the foundation for more severe action, such as launching investigations against him and his companies.
The Left do not want people speaking freely on Twitter.
That is deeply damaging to their political agenda.
That’s why left-wing governments abroad have begun cracking down on online speech.
Britain is arresting people for posts on Twitter, and Brazil banned the app altogether.
Both of these moves were cheered by the international Left.
Similarly, French authorities arrested Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who refused to give governments a backdoor into his social media platform.
The media slandered him for enabling terrorism and human trafficking.
His crime was allowing Telegram to function like a phone company, meaning he is not responsible for the actions of the users.
But that’s not what the Left wants.
They want choke points for online discourse.
Former Bill Clinton cabinet member Robert Reich already floated the idea that it’s time to “rein in” Elon Musk.
The establishment cannot build the case against Musk in the court of public opinion without first turning him into a demon.
