Dallas Maverick now-minority owner Mark Cuban is a big name in Texas.

However, the Kamala Harris supporter isn’t popular in the Lone Star State.

And now Governor Greg Abbott just sent Cuban one warning that has him seeing red.

The Left still won’t abandon DEI

About this time last year, Shark Tank star Mark Cuban was embattled in a Twitter war against then-Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).

The topic of the hostile back-and-forth?

Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI).

You see, while now-Vice President-elect Vance champions a merit-based society, Cuban is one of the largest supporters of hiring and promoting based on race, sex, gender identity and sexual preference.

It all started with Cuban debating the Babylon Bee’s Ashley St. Clair DEI initiatives in corporate America.

St. Clair explained the important difference between “equality” and “equity” – and pointed out that DEI programs could actually be unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment.

Cuban – unable to best her in the battlefield of ideas — deliberately twisted St. Clair’s argument

That’s when Vance blasted Cuban with his own hypocrisy.

“Do the Dallas Mavericks reflect the demographics of America as a whole?”

Cuban wasn’t happy about the comment, calling Vance stupid.

But if the Big Tech corporatist didn’t like that, he’s going to hate what Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) just said.

Governor Greg Abbott just issued a dire warning to Texas A&M

City Journal and Manhattan Institute journalist Christopher F. Rufo recently broke the story that Texas A&M dean Michael Withers was allegedly using public resources to support racial segregation against whites and Asians.

According to Rufo, the university “is sponsoring a trip to a DEI conference that prohibits whites and Asians from attending.”

This didn’t sit well with author and town hall columnist Kurt Schlichter.

“Hey Gregg Abbott and Ken Paxton — is my newly adopted state gonna put up with this crap,” Schlichter tweeted. “Because I came from California, and it (DEI) leads to thousands of houses getting burned down.”

For his part, the Governor of the Longhorn State was quick to answer in resounding fashion.

DEI has been banned in Texas’ public universities and Abbott promised his administration would not stand for Texas A&M skirting the law to advance its radically woke agenda.

“Hell, no,” Abbott responded to Schlichter. “It’s against Texas law and violates the US Constitution. It will be fixed immediately, or the president will soon be gone.’

Schlichter answered back “Glad to hear it,” and referred to Abbott’s warning to Texas A&M President Mark Welsh III, “very based.”

Rufo was also to see his reporting was making a difference.

“Thank you, governor,” Rufo tweeted.

Even Twitter owner Elon Musk weighed in on Abbott’s declaration.

The new co-director of Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been a strong opponent against DEI.

Musk simply tweeted out a flame emoji, signaling that Abbott’s anti-DEI warning was “fire.”

“Fire,” as used by the kids today is a positive.

According to Urban Dictionary, it means, “Something that is really good, amazing, crazy (in a good way).”
