Senator Ron Johnson just threw down the gauntlet against the Washington establishment.

He’s taking aim at one of the most sensitive topics in modern American history.

And the GOP Senator dropped a 9/11 bombshell that will worry George Bush sick.

Johnson questions official 9/11 narrative and promises investigation

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, shocked many when he indicated his willingness to hold hearings on the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

In an interview with conservative influencer Benny Johnson released Monday, the Senator made it clear he’s been looking into alternative explanations for what happened that tragic day.

“There are a host of questions that I will be asking, quite honestly, now that my eyes have been opened up,” Johnson told Benny Johnson on his podcast.

The Senator specifically mentioned Calling out Bravo 7, a 2020 film questioning the official explanation for the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7, which fell hours after the Twin Towers.

Building 7 has long been a focal point for those who question the government’s account of the attacks.

Johnson didn’t hold back when describing his view of the official investigation conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

“I don’t know if you can find structural engineers other than the ones that had the corrupt investigation inside NIST that would say that thing didn’t come down in any other way than a controlled demolition,” he declared.

Senator promises to work with former Congressman to expose the truth

The Wisconsin Senator revealed he’s been in contact with former Rep. Curt Weldon, a Pennsylvania Republican who left Congress in 2007.

Weldon has made explosive claims about the Bush administration allegedly covering up the government’s role in the attacks and working to remove him from office after he began asking questions.

“Now I will work with [Weldon] to expose what he’s willing to expose as well,” Johnson promised.

The Senator’s statements come shortly after Weldon appeared on Tucker Carlson’s program to discuss his theories about what really happened on that fateful day.

Johnson expressed particular interest in the handling of evidence following the attacks.

“There’s an awful lot of questions,” Johnson said. “Who ordered the removal and the destruction of all that evidence totally contrary to any other firefighting investigation procedures? I mean, who ordered that, who was in charge? I think there’s some basic information. Where’s all the documentation from this investigation?”

NIST investigation continues to face scrutiny

NIST’s official investigation concluded that Building 7 collapsed progressively due to a prolonged fire that couldn’t be extinguished because of water pressure issues, combined with extensive damage to the building.

However, this explanation has never satisfied those who question the official narrative.

Johnson’s willingness to use his powerful committee position to potentially hold hearings on these matters represents a significant break from most elected officials, who have generally avoided questioning the established account of the attacks.

As Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, Johnson has the authority to call hearings and subpoena witnesses.

This move could potentially reopen one of the most painful chapters in recent American history.

Johnson’s comments are likely to draw strong reactions from both supporters who feel the truth has been hidden and critics who will label his statements as embracing conspiracy theories.

For Americans who have long questioned the official story about what happened on September 11, 2001, Johnson’s willingness to use his position to investigate represents a rare opportunity to have their concerns addressed at the highest levels of government.

Others will undoubtedly view this as a dangerous legitimization of debunked theories about one of America’s greatest tragedies.

What’s clear is that Johnson’s statements have introduced a potentially explosive new dynamic into American politics, with unpredictable consequences for both parties.
