He even swayed liberals in Silicon Valley.
But now Donald Trump will be furious after hearing what Joe Biden did to one of his top backers.
Totalitarian tactic being used against Trump supporters
Leftists in Northern California despise Donald Trump.
Many of them used their massive influence to defeat Trump in 2020.
For example, a 2016 election postmortem at Google showed leadership and rank-and-file employees distraught over Trump’s win.
Google worked behind the scenes to manipulate its algorithm in favor of the Left, among many other actions.
However, in 2024, Trump picked up more support than expected from Silicon Valley.
It turned out that Big Tech companies did not like being strong-armed by the Joe Biden administration into doing their bidding.
Silicon Valley investor Marc Andreessen explained how the Biden administration and other Democrats pushed to “debank” conservatives or simply anyone that the establishment viewed as a threat.
Andreessen appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast and laid out the Censorship Industrial Complex.
He said, “And then my favorite twist is we have this thing called independent federal agencies. So like for example, we have this thing called the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, CFPB, which is sort of Elizabeth Warren’s personal agency that she gets to control. And it’s an independent agency that gets to run and do whatever it wants, right? And if you read the Constitution, there is no such thing as independent agency, and yet there it is.”
Rogan asked, “What does her agency do?”
“Whatever she wants,” Andreessen replied. “Basically, terrorize financial institutions, prevent new competition, new startups that want to compete with the big banks.”
“How so?” Rogan probed.
Andreessen said, “Just terrorizing anybody who tries to do anything new in financial services.”
Rogan asked, “Can you give me an example?”
Debanking explained
Andreessen explained, “Oh, you know, debanking. This is where a lot of the debanking comes from, is these agencies. So debanking is when you as either a person or your company are literally kicked out of the banking system.”
Many people on the Right have been debanked in the United States, Canada, and the UK.
Andreessen continued, “For having the wrong politics. For saying unacceptable things. Under current banking regulations, after all the reforms of the last 20 years, there’s now a category called a politically exposed person, PEP. And if you are a PEP, you are required by financial regulators to kick them off, to kick them out of your bank.”
An incredulous Rogan asked, “What? But what if you’re politically on the Left?”
“That’s fine,” Andreessen said. “Because they’re not politically exposed.”
Rogan asked for people that he knew that had been debanked, and Andreessen brought up longtime conservative author and firebrand David Horowitz, the father of Andreessen’s business partner Ben.
He explained, “Oh, well, I mean, David Horowitz is, you know, he’s pro-Trump. I mean, he’s said all kinds of things. You know, he’s been very anti-Islamic terrorism. He’s been very worried about immigration, all these things.”
Horowitz is one of many examples of those on the right who have been debanked.

The Censorship Industrial Complex is a massive web of corruption that relies on private companies doing the bidding of the federal government.
Having the “wrong” opinions can lead to losing a bank account and the ability to do business.
