Acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba had a major announcement.

What Habba had to say rocked the political world to the core.

And Alina Habba just announced that she had arrested this top Democrat.

Alina Habba announces Democrat Congresswoman’s arrest

For years, Democrats acted with impunity, knowing the double standard of justice protected them.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa militias could burn, loot, and murder, waging campaigns of domestic terrorism, and get off scot free.

Trump supporters who walked into the Capitol through doors held open by police officers faced 20 years in prison.

Donald Trump campaigned on ending the two-tiered system of justice.

Acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba showed there were real teeth behind President Trump’s promise.

Congresswoman LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) was among the Democrats who stormed into an ICE facility in Newark to protest President Trump’s mass deportations.

Bodycam footage showed McIver getting aggressive with law enforcement officers protecting the facility.

Under Joe Biden, nothing would have happened.

But this is the Trump administration.

And Habba announced she was arresting Congresswoman McIver on charges of assaulting law enforcement.

“Today, my office has charged Congresswoman McIver with violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 111(a)(1) for assaulting, impeding, and interfering with law enforcement,” Habba announced.

In an accompanying statement, Habba explained her decision.

“I take my obligations as U.S. Attorney seriously. I understand the responsibility that comes with my position, and I will work diligently to uphold the law and deliver justice to the people of New Jersey,” Habba began.

McIver and the other Democrat members of Congress didn’t face trespassing charges for breaking into the ICE facility because members of Congress have the authority to enter any building they want as part of their oversight power.

But Habba said McIver’s actions went far beyond oversight.

“Congressional oversight is an important constitutional function and one that I fully support. However, that is not at issue in this case,” Habba added.

Habba described how McIver got physically violent and that she couldn’t tolerate attacks on law enforcement.

“Representative LaMonica McIver assaulted, impeded, and interfered with law enforcement in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1 1 1 (a)(1). That conduct cannot be overlooked by the chief federal law enforcement official in the State of New Jersey, and it is my Constitutional obligation to ensure that our federal law enforcement is protected when executing their duties. I have persistently made efforts to address these issues without bringing criminal charges and have given Representative McIver every opportunity to come to a resolution, but she has unfortunately declined,” Habba went on to say.

Habba noted that “no one is above the law” – a phrase Democrats and the media would somberly intone when Democrat prosecutors indicted Donald Trump on their sham charges – and that members of Congress weren’t free from accountability by virtue of their position.

“No one is above the law — politicians or otherwise. It is the job of this office to uphold justice impartially, regardless of who you are. Now we will let the justice system work,” Habba concluded.
