Just one day after his awkward encounter with Jill Biden at the Milken Conference in Los Angeles, Devon Archer appeared at a Ventura County GOP event in Malibu where he shared eye-opening insights about his former business partner Hunter Biden.
Jennifer Van Laar, who attended and documented the event, reported that Archer described Hunter Biden as “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” when asked about what the president’s son was really like.
According to Van Laar’s social media posts and video, Archer painted a complex picture of Hunter, saying that when sober, the first son was “well-read” and a family man. Archer reportedly expressed sadness about how addiction had devastated his former business associate’s life.
The “death glare” that says it all
Perhaps most revealing was Archer’s description of his uncomfortable run-in with former First Lady Jill Biden at the Bel-Air Hotel just hours before the GOP event.
“He said he’d just run into Jill Biden at the Bel-Air Hotel and she gave him a ‘death glare,'” Van Laar said of the video posted on X.
Archer however seems to have said “death stare” in the video.

This frosty encounter came the same day that photos surfaced showing Archer and fellow Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski embracing at the prestigious Milken Institute Global Conference—with Jill Biden just steps away.
“The Big Guy” mystery solved
When attendees pressed for details about Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business dealings, Archer didn’t mince words.
“Joe Biden is definitively ‘The Big Guy,'” Archer stated, according to Van Laar’s video.

This confirmation reinforces what many have suspected about the now-infamous May 2017 email that discussed holding 10% of a Chinese business deal “for the big guy.” Hunter Biden previously testified that the nickname referred to his father but denied the former president was on the take.
Archer’s statement at the GOP event provides additional corroboration of who “The Big Guy” actually was in the Biden family business operations.
Questions about Biden’s mental acuity
When asked if he had noticed any signs of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during their business relationship, Archer gave a measured response.
“I never felt him to be, you know, completely capacitized [sic] or whatever, at all,”” Archer said, though he clarified that he hadn’t seen the Biden family in about a decade.
