Fraud exposed by Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller
Donald Trump ruffled feathers during the campaign when he announced that Elon Musk would spearhead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Now that Musk and his DOGE team are actually finding massive waste, fraud, and abuse, Democrats are melting down.
Exposing the corruption and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was a massive scandal.
Now the IRS could be next.
Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller pointed out that foreign fraud rings are stealing billions of dollars through fake social security numbers via the IRS.
Miller also allayed Democrat concerns that DOGE was somehow stealing sensitive data in order to enrich Elon Musk.
Recently, Musk pointed out that if he wanted people’s financial data, he could’ve accessed it when he launched PayPal.
Miller explained that “DOGE are subordinate staffers of the federal government. They are political appointees, just like me, just like everyone else in the White House. They serve and answer to the President. So we’re not talking about an outside private entity. We’re talking about the existing federal staff of the federal government performing their statutory and Constitutional duty.”

Miller on the IRS and DOGE
Miller also said on Fox News, “I give you my word … the only thing that is happening here is restoring neutrality, ethics, accountability to the IRS to make sure at the payment level, at the systems level, that we can identify signs and warning symptoms that large-scale fraud is taking place, that unfair politicization is taking place, that unfair targeting is taking place.”
The Left is terribly concerned that Trump’s administration and DOGE are looking under the hood of the federal government.
That should be a tell-tale sign.
They don’t want Trump and DOGE looking into USAID or the IRS or the National Endowment for Democracy, a CIA cutout.
Miller reiterated his support of DOGE and said, “When we talk about DOGE, who are we talking about? We are talking about staff that serves the president of the United States, that is appointed by the president, that reports to the White House.”
In the view of the Left, it would be preferable for nameless, faceless bureaucrats to have complete access to sensitive financial data with zero oversight or transparency.
Miller added, “That is part of the formal infrastructure of the federal government. That is the highest level of accountability that you can possibly have, as opposed to some career civil servant who has, up until now, been completely immune to any form of accountability.”
Getting rid of waste, fraud, and abuse saves taxpayers a lot of money.
Even for those who don’t pay taxes, less federal spending means less money-printing to make up for budget shortfalls.
Less money printing means less inflation.
An honest media would be explaining this to the public.
Instead, they want people to believe that Trump is a fascist because he’s reducing the power of the federal government.
