The Kansas City Chiefs are once again playing in the Super Bowl.
This marks the fifth time in six years the Chiefs have made it to the big game.
And now Star Super Bowl kicker Harrison Butker just triggered sports journalists.
Rule 1: Never apologize to the mob
It’s never smart to apologize to the cancel culture mob.
They won’t forgive you and you just anger the people who agree with you.
It’s also a display of weakness that strengthens the power and effectiveness of the woke outrage mob.
Just ask Jewel.
I know Jewel very well, I even produced a record on her back in the day, and I think it’s great that she supported RFK Jr. It tells me she wants to see medical tyranny dismantled in America, just like I do. No need to apologize for that. https://t.co/StefbK1gPp

The star singer from Alaska sang last month at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again Inaugural Ball.
She was mercilessly attacked for her performance – not for the quality of her singing, but merely for showing up in the first place.
Following the cancelation mob’s effort, Jewel posted a video – almost in tears – apologizing for “causing pain,” especially to the “treasures” in the “LGBTQ community.”
Was the apology accepted by the woke extremists?
Of course not.
The comment section on her apology video was filled with left-wing radicals insisting Jewel remain canceled.
Fortunately, Harrison Butker is not making the same mistake Jewel did.
Harrison Butker: “I got nothing to apologize for”
There are two weeks between the NFL conference championship games and the Super Bowl.
The week in between is dubbed, “media week.”
Because there’s only so much football Xs and Os to cover, the coverage typically strays to off-the-field interests.
This is when the supposed “journalists” in the sports world contrive so-called “human interest stories” that real football fans couldn’t care less about.
And because they can only talk about Taylor Swift so much, some of the woke leftists masquerading as sports reporters turned their attention to Kansas City kicker Harrison Butker.

Specifically, they wanted an apology for the star kicker’s commencement address at Benedictine College in Kansas last May.
“It opened up a lot of good conversations, and a lot of guys had different opinions about it, but we all love each other in that locker room,” Butker answered. “And we all know who we are, and I think all the guys understood where I was coming from.”
And that’s when the man who booted four field goals – including a Super Bowl record 57-yarder – stood his ground.
“I know they respect me and respect what I have to say,” Butker continued. “I got nothing to apologize for.”
Butker’s Christian commencement address
In May of 2024, the small Catholic school of Benedictine College invited the Super Bowl champion kicker to deliver some commencement remarks to graduating students.
The Chief’s star kicker spoke about the value of traditional male and female gender roles and said he was in awe of women who prioritize the raising of their own children.
Additionally, the very religious Butker didn’t punt on the opportunity to call out hypocrisy with then-President Joe Biden.

Butker pointed out that President Biden considers himself a “proud Catholic,” supports abortion-on-demand, euthanasia, and other issues in direct conflict with Catholics – and really any Christian — teachings.
“The bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues,” Butker said in his commencement speech. “Things like abortion, [in vitro fertilization], surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for the degenerate cultural values and media all stem from pervasiveness of disorder. Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally.”
The cancel culture mob lit their torches and sharpened their pitchforks with an eye on the head of the man with the big foot.
Woke radicals tried to make it out as though Butker had just delivered the most racist, sexist, bigoted speech in history.
He didn’t.
He spoke about Christian values to Christian students at a Christian college.
He got a standing ovation from the graduates and a fat new contract extension from his team.
And he’s still rightly refusing to apologize for any of it.
