Big Tech has flown under the radar for years.

But now people are beginning to have serious conversations about the impact of technology on society.

And a Silicon Valley whistleblower’s mother revealed something truly shocking to Tucker Carlson.

Whistleblower’s mother says her son was murdered

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become the latest frontier in the arms race.

Back in 2018, Elon Musk warned, “Mark my words: A.I. is far more dangerous than nukes.”

Musk helped launch OpenAI and partnered with Microsoft, but left the company over ethical concerns.

He has since called for government regulation of AI.

Musk said, “I’ve been pushing hard for a long time. I met with a number of senior senators and Congress, people of Congress, in the White House to advocate for AI regulation, starting with an insight committee that is formed of independent parties as well as perhaps participants from the leaders in the industry.”

Others have warned about OpenAI and challenged the company for different reasons.

One big problem with OpenAI is that it uses copyrighted material to feed its algorithms.

OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji was purportedly about to blow the lid off the company’s activities when he suddenly died of an apparent suicide.

But Balaji’s death was viewed with major skepticism, especially given the timing.

Balaji’s mother Poornima Ramarao sat for an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson to discuss her son’s death.

Carlson clarified the timeline by saying, “So he was quoted saying that OpenAI was committing crimes, and a month later, he was dead.”

Ramarao responded, “That’s not just it. On November 18, [the] New York Times named my son as ‘custodian witness.’ Custodian witness is very, very important. He had the documents against OpenAI. That was on [the] 18th. [On the] 22nd, he just came back from vacation in L.A. and Catalina island the same night. They have attacked him and killed him.”

Private autopsy

Ramarao is empathic that her son was murdered.

Newsweek reported that “Ramarao said the private autopsy she had conducted by Dr. Joseph Cohen indicated that the bullet wound in Balaji’s head had missed the brain and another injury on the other side of the head indicated signs of a struggle, implying the presence of an attacker.”

She also told Carlson, “It’s a homicide, obviously. . .We have enough reasons to believe that coming from the private autopsy; it’s not a suicide at all. The bullet angle is going downward about 30 to 45 degrees, and it missed the brain.”

In response to Balaji’s death, OpenAI released a statement that read, “We were devastated to learn of this tragic news and have been in touch with Suchir’s family to offer our full support during this difficult time. Our priority is to continue to do everything we can to assist them. We first became aware of his concerns when The New York Times published his comments and we have no record of any further interaction with him. We respect his, and others’, right to share views freely.”

As questions about OpenAI mount, Balaji’s death will probably warrant further investigation.
