The Left has exemplified their obsession with “woke” insanity during the last couple of weeks as fires burn throughout Los Angeles, threatening the lives of millions.
PRIDE magazine, for example, published an article praising Kristin Crowley, Los Angeles’ first lesbian fire chief, despite her facing widespread criticism from grief-stricken Los Angeles residents.
Last week PRIDE magazine posted on X, sharing their recently published piece titled “Amid Palisades fire, Los Angeles’ first LGBTQ+ fire chief is proving lesbians get it done.”
This X post came with the caption, “Amid Palisades fire, Los Angeles’ first LGBTQ+ fire chief is proving lesbians get it done.”
The “woke” post added, “Firefighters are currently trying to stop the Pacific Palisades area fire, led by lesbian Fire Chief Kristen Crowley.”

In this article, radical far-left author Ariel Messman-Rucker stated, “The stereotype of lesbians always being prepared for an emergency — everyone knows a queer woman who doesn’t leave the house without a Leatherman multitool and carabiners — holds true for Los Angeles’ first openly LGBTQ+ Fire Chief Kristin Crowley who is overseeing the firefighters trying to stop the Palisades fire..
However, these claims do not sit well with many people, especially those who just had their homes and possessions burnt to the ground.
Prolific actor James Woods has joined the chorus of angry Los Angeles residents criticizing Kristen Crowley, after seeing flames engulf his neighborhood. “Our new fire chief… she took over and she put on her bio that her priority, ‘my highest priority,’ is inclusion, diversity and equity… and somebody forgot to fill all the reservoirs, I guess, with water,” Woods stated on Fox News.
He then told viewers, “When you are the fire chief, this isn’t a social justice exercise that you are in charge of. This is [about] you getting water to areas that need water because there are fires and hundred-mile-an-hour winds burning houses to the ground.”

As James Woods noted on Fox News last week, most people do not care about the “woke” qualifications of a Fire Chief but just want the best person for the job.
Experts agree that these wildfires were the combination of many factors, and no one person is to blame.
However, many Los Angeles residents will tell you that their government has failed to prepare for a natural disaster like this, putting millions of people in harm’s way.
