Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth has already promised to clean up the Pentagon.

That’s why he’s being opposed so vigorously by Permanent Washington.

And a “woke” General approved something that will leave your jaw on the floor.

Revisiting the George Floyd riots

During his first administration, Donald Trump was routinely at odds with the Deep State.

That includes top military brass that opposed him.

For example, General Mark Milley confessed that he told his subordinates to ignore any first-strike orders given by Trump against China if the countries engaged in a hot war.

Milley also said that he studied critical race theory and railed against “white rage” in America.

But while Milley was busy virtue-signaling, he also allegedly authorized the use of a directed-energy weapon (DEW) against rioters during the summer of George Floyd.

In June 2020, the Washington, D.C., Swamp was furious when Trump had Lafayette Square Park cleared out of protesters for a supposed photo op.

The story was not true, but the narrative persisted that Trump removed peaceful protesters to pose for a photo.

In reality, there were rioters in the area who attacked police officers and attempted to burn down St. John’s Episcopal Church, which was first built in 1815.

Directed-energy weapon

The Blaze reported that the “chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Presidents Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden told colleagues that he and the Department of Defense authorized use of directed-energy weapons against June 2020 rioters at Lafayette Park in Washington, D.C . . . Retired Gen. Mark A. Milley — who served as the 20th chairman of the Joint Chiefs from October 2019 through September 2023 — made the disclosure at a private gathering in October 2024, the source said.”

The source told The Blaze, “Milley told a small group in October of 2024, ‘We had directed-energy weapons at Lafayette Park in June 2020’ to be used against rioters. . .In the full context of the discussion, I took that to mean that both Milley and then-Secretary of Defense Mark Esper had signed off on the use of those weapons.”

DEWs had long been considered science fiction and conspiracy theory nonsense, but it’s a fact that they exist.

The Blaze added that DEWs “are emerging from the shadows as more becomes known about them, how they are used by military and law enforcement, and the damage they can do to the human body. . .Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge reported on the case of a former CIA officer who was disabled after being targeted with a DEW while on duty in Africa. Blaze News national correspondent Julio Rosas recently shared his story of the ear pain and hearing loss he suffered from a powerful, long-range sound weapon used by law enforcement during 2020 riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.”

The Office of the Inspector General released a report on the Lafayette Square Park incident, which stated that the Park Police “used a sound-amplifying long-range acoustic device (LRAD) to issue three dispersal warnings to the crowd on June 1.”

However, the LRAD is not the same as a DEW.

It is not known if the DEW was actually deployed on June 1.

A retired senior military commander at U.S. Special Operations Command told Blaze News that DEWs serve as an “agitation weapon.”

The source added, “It can stop the heart, make you s*** your pants,” and “disrupt any number of bodily functions. . .[It is] highly directional, with an easily disguised wearable antenna.”

Another so-called conspiracy theory may have been proven true.
