Whoopi Goldberg seems to have no filter, especially whenever she goes on TV.

That leaves the producers of The View constantly on edge.

And Whoopi Goldberg made one sick joke about Donald Trump that left ABC News scared of a lawsuit.

Whoopi Goldberg jokes about Donald Trump being taken out by J.D. Vance and Elon Musk

President-elect Donald Trump settled a $15 million defamation lawsuit against ABC News and This Week host George Stephanopoulos that sent shockwaves through the media.

Stephanopoulos repeatedly lied on an episode of This Week that a jury found Trump liable for rape.

The View, which is a part of ABC News, is known for the show’s hosts playing fast and loose with the truth.

Hosts frequently have to read legal notes after they lie to prevent a potential lawsuit.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg joked that Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and Tesla CEO Elon Musk could kill Trump during the show.

The hosts were discussing the fight over the bloated 1,500-page government funding bill where Musk called on members of Congress to vote against it on his social media platform X.

“Who is in charge? Because I’ve been saying it for a while,” Goldberg said. “I’ve been saying it—I think Elon Musk believes he’s President. I do.”

She completely ignored that President Joe Biden was nowhere to be seen during this spending fight.

Democrats and their media allies are pushing a talking point that Musk is President to get under Trump’s skin and drive a wedge between them.

Goldberg wondered if Musk had replaced Vance as Vice President.

“I called him Vice President, I called him President because I don’t know what J.D. [Vance] Is doing. I hardly ever — I don’t remember the last time we even talked about J.D.,” Goldberg ranted.

Co-host Joy Behar predicted that Vance was plotting to get rid of Trump.

Goldberg, who refuses to call Trump by his name, looked into the camera and tried to land a joke.

“Hey, you-know-who, stay away from the stairways because, you know, people put their leg out to trip you going down the stairs. Watch out,” Goldberg raved. “But it kind of seems like maybe he is the President because he got a promotion of some sort that none of us knew about.”

Whoopi Goldberg is forced to issue an apology

Goldberg made an awful joke that Musk would trip Trump to become the President.

Trump survived two assassination attempts against him in two months.

She would never make an unfunny and tasteless joke like that against any Democrat.

The show came back from a commercial break and Goldberg tried to do damage control.

“I need to clean something up,” Goldberg claimed. “My cat lays in wait for me on my stairs all the time. That’s what I was referring to. I was thinking of that. I wasn’t trying to indicate that they were actually standing there with their legs out hoping he would trip.”

Someone forced her to say it when the show was on break.

“Nobody wants anything done to the President,” co-host Sunny Hostin declared.

“It was light-hearted and it’s the holidays, c’mon! My goodness,” Goldberg protested.

The View is going to be a nightmare for ABC News to deal with during the Trump Presidency.
