Democrats and their media allies smeared half the country as fascists and “garbage.”
Now they are scrambling because Donald Trump is coming back to the White House.
And an unhinged leftist Hollywood director came crawling back to Elon Musk after suffering one humiliation.
Rob Reiner melts down over Trump’s win
Donald Trump won a resounding victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential election.
Not only did he cruise to a comfortable Electoral College win by collecting all seven battleground states, he won the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes.
Trump’s big win denied the Democrats the opportunity to write off his election victory as nothing more than a fluke of the “white supremacist” relic of the Electoral College.
Trump made major gains with traditional Democrat voters, a trend that cannot be ignored.
In response, the Left determined that misinformation and disinformation were the reasons why they lost, not their bad policies or messaging.
Hollywood director Rob Reiner and others on the Left argued that they needed a new “information distribution system” to battle the Right’s so-called disinformation.
Reiner and other leftists fled Elon Musk’s Twitter and went to social media competitor Bluesky, which was created by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey.
But it turned out that the sky was not bluer at Bluesky.
Reiner discovered that there are internet trolls everywhere.
He wrote, “All the abuse and hate on Twitter has now spewed over to here. There seems to be no point anymore.”
Another leftist complained that she was permanently banned from Bluesky for claiming that the 2024 election was stolen from Kamala Harris.

The irony is just too thick.
Reiner learned the wrong lesson from the election
Reiner has now slinked back to Musk’s social media platform.
He wrote, “Now that America has elected a Convicted Felon with Authoritarian proclivities, I fear that Democracy’s return won’t be any time soon. The long-term solutions are daunting. Democrats need to readopt the 50-state strategy. And most importantly, a competitive information distribution system must be built to combat the massive disinformation currently being fed to the American people.”
Democrats have the wrong thesis, so they will continue to have the wrong conclusion.
People did not reject the Democrats because they did not have access to the truth.
They rejected the Democrats because they had an off-ramp from the media’s lies.
The Left’s “competitive information distribution” system is legacy mass media, but they have destroyed their own credibility.
Some have argued that the Left needs someone like popular podcast host Joe Rogan.
But that misses the point.
Rogan was a lifelong liberal and still has liberal values, but he was pushed to the Right by the insanity of the Left.
The same thing happened to Elon Musk.
Reiner and the Left are delusional.
If they think Bluesky is the answer, they will only recede further into the echo chamber and become more alienated from the majority of the American people.
