The Joe Biden administration went to extreme lengths to hold onto the power.

This often required the former president to take unprecedented measures.

And TikTok makes this defiant move as Donald Trump enters office.

Social media giant TikTok restores service in the United States

More Americans than ever use social media to check the news, keep up with your favorite comedians, and stay in touch with loved ones.

The social media app TikTok in particular has become a hit with young people.

In the last election, the Donald Trump campaign and conservative campaigns across the country effectively used TikTok to mobilize younger voters.

These campaigns and other conservative content creators mastered the art of crafting brief videos designed to catch the attention of young people, who typically have short attention spans.

Naturally, this outraged Joe Biden, and the Kamala Harris campaign.

As a result, the Joe Biden administration and establishment politicians in Washington, D.C. worked tirelessly to ban TikTok in the United States.

Politicians claim that TikTok presents a danger to American users due to TikTok’s parent company, Bytedance.

These Washington elites claim that Bytedance, a Chinese company, shares user data with the communist Chinese government.

Bytedance has routinely assured users that they do not inappropriately share user data, yet politicians in Washington, D.C. pushed for TikTok‘s ban in the United States.

Meanwhile, many Americans were far more concerned about the Joe Biden administration, which routinely threatened the security of American Internet users.

Nonetheless, the Joe Biden administration succeeded in banning TikTok with the Supreme Court upholding the ban earlier this month.

However, in a move of defiance, TikTok has started to restore service to the United States.

This defiant move comes after newly inaugurated president Donald Trump promised to restore the popular app in the United States.

TikTok released a public statement on this matter, telling users, “In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service.”

“We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive,” the public statement added.

This move from TikTok will almost certainly meet challenges. However, as TikTok notes, Donald Trump is expected to take action on the matter.

Hundreds of millions of Americans use TikTok every day, whether it is watching silly cat videos, clips from their favorite comedians, or messages from trusted politicians.

TikTok offers a direct line of communication between content creators and users, which infuriates many establishment politicians in Washington.

These establishment politicians would rather Americans turn to mainstream media sources, rather than apps like TikTok, which they cannot control as easily.

For this reason, politicians have conjured up stories about Chinese interference in TikTok.

Yet most Americans are far more afraid of overzealous American lawmakers, who, for the last four years have worked tirelessly to censor Americans online, while also pilfering their data for nefarious reasons.
