Nurse intimidated for opposing “woke” gender madness
Democrats have gone all in on radical gender ideology, which is rooted in postmodernism.
The postmodernists believe that there is no objective truth and the powerful get to determine what is true.
While there might be a kernel of truth in that idea, postmodernist leftists take it to the extreme.
They believe that a woman is whoever says she’s a woman because biological standards are simply arbitrary.
It’s easy to see how this insane idea can go in all sorts of ridiculous ways.
The UN reported that over the past several years, women and girls have lost out on over 900 medals because of biological males competing in female sports.
And the problem gets even more serious in the world of medicine.
Minors are being given cross-sex hormones and irreversible surgeries that sterilize them and give them all sorts of health problems for life, all in the name of “gender expression.”
A whistleblower at Texas Children’s Hospital named Vanessa Sivadge revealed that these interventions were happening illegally.
That’s when she got a knock on the door in May 2023 by FBI agents under Joe Biden’s DOJ.
Sivadge explained, “I will never forget the day these two FBI agents came to my house in an attempt to intimidate me into silence. I was a nurse working in an endocrine gender clinic for three years at Texas Children’s Hospital. I blew the whistle to expose how the hospital was illegally billing Medicaid for trans procedures and cross sex hormones. Two months later, I was fired in retaliation because I refused to bow the knee to transgender ideology. Uncovering the harm being done to children
Before revealing her identity as the whistleblower, Sivadge spoke with conservative journalist Christopher Rufo.
She confirmed what Dr. Eithan Haim, another whistleblower at the hospital, told Rufo.
Back in 2023, Rufo asked her, “How fast is the decision made to prescribe puberty blockers to these children? Is it same-day?”
She responded, “Yes, if they fit the WPATH [World Professional Association for Transgender Health] criteria for gender dysphoria, which is widely available online. And these kids get coached on exactly what to say through Reddit and all these sites. They know exactly the verbiage to use. They just have to establish care with Dr. [Richard Ogden] Roberts, he has a conversation with them, and he essentially starts them on puberty blockers, almost immediately.”
Since then, scandal broke out over the release of the WPATH Files, an exposé published by independent journalist Michael Shellenberger.
The WPATH Files revealed internal documents proving that people at the organization knew that they were doing harm to minor patients.
For people who think “wokeness” is a passing fad, it’s not.
These radical leftists are not going to give up because they lost an election.
They must be exposed and challenged through the court system and the ballot box.
