Liz Cheney gets referred to the FBI for witness tampering
The House Administration’s subcommittee on Oversight released a report that accused RINO Liz Cheney of witness tampering during her time on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee.
Former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson changed the testimony that she gave to the committee after Cheney contacted.
Cheney went behind the back of Hutchinson’s lawyer to make contact about her testimony.
Hutchinson fired her lawyer and became a hostile witness to President-elect Donald Trump by telling a fictitious story that was debunked.
She claimed that Trump fought the Secret Service on January 6, 2021, trying to take control of his Presidential limo to drive to the Capitol.
Multiple Secret Service agents confirmed the story was a lie.
The subcommittee report recommended that Cheney be investigated by the FBI after she broke “numerous federal laws.”
Trump warned that Cheney could be in trouble on Truth Social.
“Liz Cheney could be in a lot of trouble based on the evidence obtained by the subcommittee, which states that ‘numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney, and these violations should be investigated by the FBI.’ Thank you to Congressman Barry Loudermilk on a job well done,” Trump wrote.
Joe Scarborough makes astonishing claims about Liz Cheney’s power
Cheney is politically irrelevant everywhere outside of CNN and MSNBC where she’s treated like a rock star.
The news that she could be in trouble didn’t sit well with MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough.
Scarborough warned that targeting Cheney could make her more powerful than ever.
“You have these subcommittees coming out, talking about arresting political opponents. Like, recommending investigations into that,” Scarborough began. “I mean, the margins are so bare in the house. And in the Senate. These people are acting like they won by 20 – 25 percent.”
Scarborough claimed with a straight face that the subcommittee’s recommendation that the FBI investigate Cheney would rattle the stock market.
“This sort of talk early on, it’s bad for everybody,” Scarborough continued. “It’s bad for the House Republicans and it’s bad for Donald Trump. It’s bad for, you know, the markets.”
Morning Joe has lost 37% of its audience since the election.
Claiming a House subcommittee report that mentions Cheney is bad for the stock market is why MSNBC had no credibility and its ratings are collapsing.
Scarborough continued to double-double during his Cheney rant.
“You put Liz Cheney there, or you even talk about it, and you put out these stupid reports that this House subcommittee has put out, you are making her a martyr,” Scarborough ranted. “You are making her bigger. You are making her more powerful. You are making her everything that these people would not want to make her but they’re doing it. They’re playing right into her hands.”
Democrats and their media allies talked a big game about Cheney’s influence during the election when she campaigned with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Future Forward, the main super PAC backing Kamala, admitted that she didn’t do anything to help Kamala.
The only place that thinks Cheney has any significance is the increasingly irrelevant sets of MSNBC and CNN.
