Lindsey Graham has been called the epitome of a Washington, D.C., Swamp creature.
But this would be low for even the sleaziest of operators among the RINO establishment.
And Lindsey Graham made one confession that will turn your stomach.
Graham confesses Ukraine is “about money”
Tucker Carlson revealed that behind the scenes, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) launched a concerted effort to block Vice President-elect J.D. Vance from being Donald Trump’s running mate.
Graham’s campaign failed, and he smiled in Vance’s face as he congratulated him.
That’s Lindsey Graham in a nutshell.
But sometimes Graham just comes out and says the quiet part out loud.
For example, he recently admitted that his unwavering support for the proxy war in Ukraine is based on money.
Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity, “This war is about money. People don’t talk much about it. But you know, the richest country in all of Europe for rare earth minerals is Ukraine. Two to seven trillion dollars’ worth of minerals that are rare earth minerals, very relevant to the 21st century. . .Ukraine’s ready to do a deal with us, not the Russians. So it’s in our interest to make sure that Russia doesn’t take over the place. . .[Ukraine] is the breadbasket of. . .the developing world. . .Fifty percent of all the food going to Africa comes from Ukraine.”
And there it is.
All of the war propaganda about democracy in Ukraine was a sham.
Graham and the other warmongers are rarely so blunt when they speak about foreign conflicts.
They know that it is difficult to sell war to the American people with cold calculations like that.
So the establishment media tell people that the United States must aid Ukraine in its fight for democracy.
Slander war critics
The war propaganda also includes smearing opponents of the proxy war as Russian dupes and assets.
Trump, Carlson, Vance, Tulsi Gabbard, and anyone who raises concerns about the war get smeared as traitors to their country.
Graham probably feels comfortable talking this way because he knows the war is winding down with Trump coming back into office.
Graham added, “Donald Trump is going to do a deal to get our money back, to enrich ourselves with rare earth minerals. A good deal for Ukraine and us. . .And he’s going to bring peace.”
The Senator mentioned peace as an afterthought.
Hundreds of thousands of people had to die in a pointless proxy war because warmongers like Graham think they’re playing the board game Risk.
In the past, Graham has said that “with American weapons and money, Ukraine will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.”
But it was never about democracy in Ukraine.
Back in September, in a video where he was standing next to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Graham said, “[Ukrainians are] sitting on a trillion dollars’ worth of minerals that could be good to our economy.”
If Graham and the warmongers want to go to war for rare earth minerals, then they should say so instead of smearing the American opposition as traitors and Russian spies.
Of course, they would never do that because they know the American people are not soulless Swamp creatures like they are.
