Kamala Harris has tried to paint Donald Trump as Hitler incarnate.
Her entire campaign strategy is to fear-monger off the horrible things Democrats claim Trump will do if he gets back in the White House.
And Kamala Harris is reeling at this generous offer Trump made to the Biden family.
Weaponized “Justice”
Democrats won’t be satisfied simply beating Trump in the election, they want him to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Prosecutors in multiple states have drug him into court on bogus charges.
Democrats have been projecting, claiming that if Trump wins, he is going to be the one weaponizing the justice system against political opponents.
The fact is, Trump was President for four years and didn’t do this.
The 2016 Trump campaign had a slogan “Lock her up” referring to Hilary Clinton and her mishandling of classified information.
But when Trump won in 2016, he said it was just that, a campaign slogan, and that he had no desire to use his power to jail his political rival.
Trump noted this during a radio interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show.
“I could have gone after Hillary. I could have gotten Hillary Clinton very easily. And when they say lock her up, whenever they said ‘lock her,’ you know, they’d start, 30,000 people, ‘lock her up, lock her up.’ What did I do? I always say take it easy, just relax. We’re winning. Take it easy. Take it easy,” he said.
“I could have had her put in jail. And I decided I didn’t want to do that. I thought it would look terrible. You had the wife of the President of the United States going to jail. I thought it would be very bad if we did that. And I made sure that didn’t happen, OK? I thought it would be bad,” he continued.
While Trump declined to weaponize the justice system against Hilary Clinton, Democrats certainly didn’t return the favor once they were in power.
But after going through two impeachment attempts, multiple criminal and civil trials, and surviving two assassination attempts, Trump is still willing to show some compassion for his political rivals.
He might pardon Hunter
On the Hugh Hewitt Show, Trump indicated he might be willing to pardon Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden.
“See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what — and Hunter’s a bad boy. There’s no question about it. He’s been a bad boy. All you had to do is see the laptop from hell — but I happen to think it’s very bad for our country,” he said.
Hunter Biden was convicted on three counts of lying about drug use on a federal form to purchase firearms, which he could face 25 years in prison for.
Additionally, he was convicted for dodging over a million dollars in taxes, which carries a maximum sentence of 17 years.
President Biden has previously claimed that he has no plans to pardon his son, but many expect him to do so anyway before leaving office.
