Kamala Harris has struggled to find her footing in the 2024 Presidential race after a hot start.

The wheels quickly started to come off her campaign and now it’s going horribly sideways.

And now Kamala Harris is desperate to distance herself from this Democratic ad that is destroying her campaign.

Cringeworthy ad embarrasses the Harris campaign

Kamala Harris has touted the endorsement of several Hollywood celebrities.

For example, Mark Ruffalo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Paul Scheer, Josh Gad, Sean Astin, J.J. Abrams, Bradley Whitford, and others joined a White Dudes for Harris Zoom call.

In that same vein, a former Jimmy Kimmel producer created an ad that was supposed to appeal to men.

Instead, it turned into a punchline.

The reception was so bad that people wondered if it was even real.

But Jacob Reed, the creator, confirmed that it was indeed a genuine ad aimed at bringing in male voters for Harris.

Fox News reported that the “ad was created by Jacob Reed, who has worked as director for ‘Funny or Die’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ He told Fast Company last week that the ad was made for Creatives for Harris, which is a grassroots group of producers, writers and ad executives who support Harris.”

Democrats losing ground with men

The ad is essentially what a feminist thinks might appeal to men.

That’s how tone-deaf it is.

Reed wrote on Substack, “With the rise of role models like Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff on the national stage, I think the left is finally finding its footing on how to talk about masculinity — I think we’re overdue for a redefinition of what it means to be a man in America and I hope this campaign can start to shape that conversation. Because even though it’s more sketch comedy than political ad, what these men are saying is true – except being afraid of bears. A bear will straight-up kill you.”

Walz and Emhoff are most certainly not redefining masculinity.

In fact, Emhoff has been embroiled in two separate scandals that exhibit actual toxic masculinity.

When he was married to his ex-wife, Emhoff cheated on her with the nanny, and got her pregnant.

Also, Emhoff reportedly slapped an ex-girlfriend in public because he thought she was flirting with the valet outside of a venue.

Matt Gorman, former senior adviser to the Tim Scott campaign, ripped the ad on CNN.

He said, “I thought it was a fake until Jacob Reed, who did that ad, was interviewed on CNN, and I was like, ‘Oh, this guy’s real’. . .Uh, because if you wanted to make an ad trolling, there’s no better one than that. This is the problem. We’ve talked a lot about our issues with women as a party and struggles to win them over the last couple of years. Democrats have a serious problem with men, and if you notice, too, when they’re trying to appeal to men, they’re doing it in the context of women. It’s like, ‘I’m not afraid of a woman.’ Like, that’s not a message to men. And I think that’s what they’re struggling with, they just simply don’t have a real message and no authenticity to do it.”

This is yet another swing-and-miss for the Harris campaign.
