Kamala Harris is losing ground to Donald Trump.
That’s why her handlers encouraged her to do a media blitz.
But Harris arrogantly rolled into her Fox News interview and got clocked with one question.
Harris faceplants on Fox News
Kamala Harris’ internal polling numbers must be alarming.
That’s the only explanation as to why she’s suddenly hitting the media circuit hard.
Harris struggled in her most challenging interview, which was sitting across from veteran reporter Bill Whitaker on 60 Minutes.
However, CBS chopped up the interview to make Harris look slightly less incoherent.
Harris then shockingly agreed to do her first truly adversarial interview with Fox News, and it went about as poorly as one would expect.
Bret Baier, who is a tough but fair interviewer, absolutely leveled Harris with basic questions.
Perhaps the most devastating moment for Harris occurred when Baier asked her why so many Americans were unhappy with the current direction of the country.
Baier asked, “Your campaign slogan is ‘a new way forward,’ and ‘it’s time to turn the page.’ You’ve been vice president for three and a half years. So what are you turning the page from?”
Harris responded, “Well, first of all, turning the page from the last decade in which we have been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other, rhetoric and an approach to leadership that suggests that the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down instead of what we all know. The strength of leadership is based on who you lift up. . .The strength of an American president, which is one who understands that the vast majority of us have more in common than what separates us.”
Bret Baier goes in for the kill
But Baier did not let that word salad stand.
He pressed on and read her a poll that showed 79% of Americans believe that the country is on the wrong track.
Baier said, “If it’s on the wrong track, that track follows three and a half years of you being vice president and President Biden being president. That is what they’re saying — 79% of them. Why are they saying that if you’re turning the page? . . . You’ve been in office for three and a half years.”
Harris awkwardly answered, “And Donald Trump has been running for office since—”
Baier cut her off and said, “You’ve been the person holding the office.”
Harris claimed, “Come on, you and I both know what I am talking about. You and I both know what I am talking about.”
Baier shot back, “I actually don’t. What are you talking about?”
BRET: “More than 70% of Americans feel the country is going badly.”
KAMALA: “Donald Trump has been running for office”
B: “But you’ve been the person holding the office”
K: “You and I both know what I’m talking about”
B: “I actually don’t. What are you talking about?” 🤣 pic.twitter.com/rslwSkysBR

Harris has no good answer to that question.
She is trying to run as the “change” candidate even though she is the sitting Vice President of the United States.
It’s a preposterous argument.
And the argument shows how all the Democrats have is Orange Man Bad.
They cannot run on any policy agenda.
