What Donald Trump can giveth, Donald Trump can taketh away.

Christopher Wray only reached the FBI Director’s office thanks to Trump, and after failing, Wray is now out thanks to Trump.

And now Jim Jordan just filled Wray’s stocking with coal as a going away present.

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye

Embattled Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray, resigned from his post last week.

Leftists were wrangling to do anything to prevent Donald Trump loyalist, Kash Patel, from assuming the mantle of the head of the FBI.

First, they tried positioning RINO ex-Congressman Mike Rogers as a favorite for the nomination.

When that failed, they began pushing the absurd notion that Wray had the right to serve out a full “10-year term” if he wished.

Governor Ron DeSantis was quick to disabuse them of that notion – pointing out that the FBI Director doesn’t have a 10-year term, but a 10-year limit.

Finally, they were left with no other options, Wray conceded the game and resigned.

This opens the confirmation path for Trump-nominee, Kash Patel.

Patel is a lawyer, former federal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, and served as a top advisor behind the scenes in the first Trump Administration.

However, Wray may be gone, but he’s not forgotten.

Members of the Right have been taking their share of fair parting shots against the outgoing FBI Director.

And Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) was at the top of that list.

Jim Jordan vs. Christopher Wray

As the Chairman of the United States House Committee on the Judiciary, Representative Jordan had plenty of opportunities to tangle with Wray.

Jordan likely knows him better than Wray’s own family.

And after Wray filed his resignation, the Republican Congressman from the Buckeye State reminded Americans of Wray’s legacy at the FBI.

“Chris Wray’s FBI: Censored Americans, labeled pro-life Catholics as extremists, spied on your private finances, spied on Congressional members and staff, retaliated against whistleblowers,” Jordan tweeted. “Americans deserve better.”

While Jordan’s list hits many of the lowlights of Wray’s time running the FBI, it’s hardly a full list.

Christopher Wray’s regrettable legacy

You can add to the bullet points, the treatment of the January 6 protesters and the raid of Mar-a-Lago.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) exposed that Wray’s FBI was linking MAGA Americans to “Militia Violent Extremists,” like the Ku Klux Klan or the Nazi party,

Jordan’s own GOP House Judiciary group also released a report showing Wray was diverting FBI agents away from child sexual abuse investigations and toward political investigations.

According to a whistleblower, child sexual abuse investigations were not a priority under Wray’s watch.

And considering he worked at the pleasure of President Joe Biden, it may come as no surprise that Wray bought into the woke Diversity Equity & Inclusion virtue signaling act.

The Daily Wire reported that Biden’s National Intelligence Department was celebrating that crossdressing men within the FBI and CIA were supposedly “better” at gathering intelligence than their normal-dressing counterparts.

The list of Wray’s FBI malpractice could go on and on.

Jordan’s goodbye post to Wray only scratched the surface.
