Fani Willis’ witch hunt against Donald Trump is in shambles.
She’s facing a tough fight in her future.
And Fani Willis was crushed by some bad news that hit her like a ton of bricks.
The outcome of the election is a problem for Fani Willis
Former President Donald Trump completed the greatest comeback in American political history with his rout of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The election outcome was great news for Trump supporters but it was a devastating blow to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
Her criminal case against Trump and his allies for contesting the 2020 Election results in Georgia is on thin ice.
Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) – an ally of Trump – noted that Willis won her re-election with ease in deep blue Fulton County during an appearance on Newsmax’s National File.
“[Willis] came after me as well and I was actually the only person to actually beat her in court, I got her removed from my case because she had a clear conflict of interest,” Jones said.
Jones served as an alternate elector in Georgia for Trump in the 2020 Election when he was a member of the State Senate.
A Judge threw out Willis’ election case against him after she attended a fundraiser for his Democrat opponent when he ran for Georgia Lieutenant Governor in 2022.
“When an independent DA … looked at my case, they saw that there was nothing done that I did wrong. There was no criminal intent, nor was there a crime,” Jones explained.
Willis’ witch hunt against Trump is hanging by a thread
Jones said that Trump and his allies being targeted by Willis “are in the same situation I was in.”
Willis hired her secret lover Nathan Wade as a special prosecutor even though he was vastly underqualified and paid him more than $600,000 in taxpayer money which was used to take the couple on luxury vacations.
That created a conflict of interest that her lover was brought on board the case and the pair financially benefited from it.
Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled against a legal challenge to have Willis disqualified from the case but ordered that either she or Wade had to leave the case.
McAfee rebuked Willis for showing bad judgment and questioned if she lied about the timing of when the pair’s relationship began.
The Georgia Court of Appeals is hearing an appeal from Trump’s legal team to have Willis disqualified from the case.
Jones predicted that the appeals court would disqualify Willis and he thought there was a possibility that the Judges would throw the case out.
“It was a witch hunt that she did to try to raise her personal profile and raise money off of,” Jones explained. And like I said, there was never a crime that was committed or intent for a crime.”
He slammed the witch hunts against Trump.
“And it’s just ridiculous that the President was put through not just that here in Fulton County, but the other rogue prosecutors around the country that tried to prosecute him, tried to jail him, and everything else,” Jones stated.
Fani Willis faces an uphill battle to ever bring Donald Trump to trial with her sham criminal case.
