Donald Trump put a globalist CEO on notice over this awful warfare he waged against conservatives.
The Left has been able to use the financial system to target conservatives through a practice known as debanking.
Major banks have canceled the accounts of conservatives and conservative organizations for political reasons.
First Lady Melania Trump revealed in her memoir that an unnamed bank canceled her account and that it prevented her son, Barron Trump, from opening one.
“I was shocked and dismayed to learn that my long-time bank decided to terminate my account and deny my son the opportunity to open a new one,” Melania wrote.
President Donald Trump put Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan on notice at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland for debanking conservatives during a video appearance.
“By the way, speaking of you and you’ve done a fantastic job, but I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives,” Trump told Moynihan. “Because many conservatives complained that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank and that included a place called Bank of America.”
Bank of America canceled the account of former Trump 2020 lawyer John Eastman after he provided legal advice in contesting the election.
“They don’t take conservative business and I don’t know if regulators mandated that because of Biden or what, but you and [J.P. Morgan Chase CEO] Jamie [Dimon] and everybody, I hope you will open your banks to conservatives, because what you are doing is wrong,” Trump added.

Bank of America got the message loud and clear after Trump called them out.

But there’s ample evidence that the company isn’t telling the truth.
Bank of America accused of targeting conservatives
15 Republican state attorneys general sent a letter to Bank of America last spring accusing the company of discriminating against conservatives.
The letter accused the bank of refusing to do business with the firearms industry, companies that had contracts with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and oil and gas companies.
House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) discovered that Bank of America turned over customers’ financial information who were in the Washington, D.C. area during January 6 to the FBI without a legal order.
“It is unclear what ‘legal’ process permits the FBI or BoA to share the sensitive customer information of potentially thousands of BoA customers and implicate them in a federal law enforcement investigation without any clear criminal nexus,” Jordan wrote to Moynihan in a 2023 letter.
Trump put his marker down about the growing problem of debanking.
Bank of America may claim that it welcomes conservatives but it has a long track record of abusing its power to discriminate against them.
