Democrat politicians have made an art form of serially ducking press conferences and refusing to talk specifics about their schemes that seem to get more awful everytime you turn around.
But now Tim Walz wants to team up with Kamala Harris on one that is worse than anyone could have ever imagined.
And Donald Trump issued a dire warning about Tim Walz that could torpedo him in November.
Donald Trump warns Harris-Walz want to destroy the Second Amendment
Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, have the Second Amendment in their crosshairs.
More gun control is one of the few policy proposals they’ve released.
Former President Donald Trump addressed the Gun Owners of America convention in a video.
“Let’s call it what it is. Really, it is gun confiscation,” Trump said. “That is a violation of your constitutional rights.”
Kamala supported a mandatory buyback gun confiscation scheme when she ran for President in 2020.
But an anonymous campaign statement claims she no longer supports this position.
“Kamala Harris has supported gun confiscation schemes throughout her career, and she does it constantly, and that’s what she wants, and she’s looking for mandatory buybacks,” Trump said. “We’re not going to let that happen.”
Kamala and Walz let gun owners know they’re their firearms
Kamala came out swinging at gun owners at the first rally of her campaign in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with Walz after his announcement.
“We, who believe that every person should have the freedom to live safe from the terror of gun violence, will finally pass red-flag laws, universal background checks, and an assault weapons ban,” Kamala said.
Trump told the attendees that Kamala and Walz planned to rule as “dictators.”
“That’s really putting her right alongside some of the most dangerous dictators anywhere in history,” Trump said about Kamala’s gun grabs.
Kamala has been waging war on gun owners since she served as California Attorney General.
“As California Attorney General, she opposed concealed carry permits for law-abiding citizens unless they could demonstrate that extraordinary need to carry a gun beyond concern for personal safety,” Trump explained. “The need was so strong that practically nobody was able to get one. That’s really a radical position. But in contrast, I will always defend your constitutional right to protect yourself when I’m President.”
Gun owners could make the difference in swing states that are expected to come down to the wire this election.
Trump made his pitch for them to turn out this year.
“I need every single gun owner to make a plan to go and vote,” Trump said. “The one thing with gun owners, and I don’t know why, maybe they just have a certain way about them. Maybe they’re rebellious, but they don’t vote. They got to get out and vote. If the gun owners of this country voted, just a small percentage of them, we would have a victory like you’ve never seen.”
Trump’s running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), has called for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) to be abolished.
Gun Owners of America chairman Tim Macy said that there was a clear contrast this election.
“Without a doubt, this was President Trump’s strongest take on gun rights to date, and coupled with Sen. [J.D.] Vance [R-OH] as his running mate, gun owners have a clear choice this November,” Macy said.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are ready to wage an all out war on the Second Amendment if they take power.
