Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have diminished America’s standing on the global stage significantly over the last four years.

This contrasts to Donald Trump, who made elevating the standing of the United States a top priority of his first administration.

And Donald Trump is howling with laughter after this central American leader rages over a social media post.

Donald Trump’s latest idea to regain control of this crucial shipping route has ruffled some feathers

Over the last four years, the Joe Biden administration has gone to great lengths to weaken the United States and its geopolitical influence.

As a result, conflicts have broken out all over the globe, pushing the world to the brink of World War III.

However, Donald Trump has promised to reverse course in his second term, restoring America’s spot as the leading power in the free world.

Donald Trump’s foreign policy strategy for his second term relies heavily on trade negotiations through the use of tariffs and other means, to help control inflation and protect American manufacturing.

Just recently, President-elect Donald Trump floated the idea of the United States retaking control of the crucially important Panama Canal, which the Panamanian government currently controls.

Despite paying for most of the canal’s construction at the beginning of the 20th century, the United States handed over control of the canal to Panama in 1977.

As a result, the problem-plagued and feeble government of Panama now controls one of the world’s most vital shipping routes.

This has opened the doors for America’s adversaries, such as China, to wield immense influence over the shipping route, to the detriment of American taxpayers.

Donald Trump sounded off on this disturbing reality in his Christmas post on social media, where he claimed, “Merry Christmas to all, including to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal.”

These remarks sent Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino into a full-blown rage, even calling President-elect Donald Trump’s remarks “nonsense.”

“The canal is Panamanian and belongs to Panamanians. There’s no possibility of opening any kind of conversation around this reality,” Mulino recently stated at a press conference.

Donald Trump has similarly voiced his interest in taking control of Greenland, which the Danish government currently controls.

And like the Panama Canal, officials in Copenhagen have voiced their unwillingness to give this giant landmass up to the United States.

Americans can expect major changes to come in the following several months

Political experts agree that the beginning of Donald Trump’s second term will consist of the president-elect undoing much of the damage that Joe Biden has done over the last four years.

This involves undoing Joe Biden’s disastrous foreign policy practices, which has pushed the world to the edge of World War III.

Although a full United States takeover of the Panama Canal seems unlikely in the short term, it seems likely that the Donald Trump administration will work with regional partners to change how this crucial shipping route is operated.
