Radical leftists took over major industries in recent years and began showing they’ll do almost anything to people who step in the way of their radical agenda.

They just crossed a line with controversy magnet Dave Portnoy.

And now this new move by Portnoy has leftist executives biting their nails.

Big Tech’s biggest fear might come true in the very near future

As it stands, a handful of large technology companies have a monopoly in terms of facilitating public discourse.

Platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and X have tremendous power in today’s society, which many on the Left have taken advantage of.

As a result, Canadian entrepreneur Chris Pavlovski founded video streaming platform Rumble in 2013 as a direct response to YouTube’s policies regarding free speech.

Pavlovski believed that YouTube restricted free speech to such an extent that the platform was no longer conducive to educated discourse.

Just last Monday, Dave Portnoy, the man behind the widely popular Barstool Sports brand, announced a groundbreaking partnership with Rumble, signaling a major transition for both companies.

In a statement, Portnoy announced, “I’m excited about Rumble’s commitment to sports and broadening audiences.”

He added, “With the power of Barstool Sports, we are going to help Rumble be the top player in the video, cloud, and live-streaming space.”

Last November, Dave Portnoy issued a statement on X, lamenting his experiences with YouTube, claiming that YouTube repeatedly censored his content.

More specifically, Portnoy’s company, Barstool Sports, released season 3 of their hit show Surviving Barstool on YouTube, only to get flagged by YouTube on multiple occasions.

Per Portnoy, “I know what’s coming. If they need us to edit that, you gotta edit a bunch of sh*t.”

He added, “No, no, no. This is Barstool, we’ll do it our f*cking way. F*ck YouTube. If they’re not smart enough to actually watch a reality show and realize what’s going on, fine, whatever. So we’re not putting it on YouTube anymore.”

In essence, YouTube attempted to strong-arm Portnoy and Barstool Sports to edit their content through the use of demonetization.

Demonetization has become a powerful censorship technique used by YouTube and other social media platforms.

This way, platforms do not have to actually remove any content to get their way.  Instead, they financially punish its creators, making it nearly impossible for them to make new content without slipping into the red.

Dave Portnoy’s transition to Rumble could be the beginning of a bigger mass exodus from YouTube

As large technology platforms like YouTube become more aggressive with their censorship tactics, more and more creators have fled for more creator-friendly platforms.

Rumble has emerged as a popular platform for those looking to make content that does not bow down to YouTube’s radical far-left worldview and agenda.

As the 2024 election cycle approaches, expect even more content creators to flee YouTube, as many media experts believe wide-ranging censorship schemes are in the pipeline.
