Clarence Thomas is the longest-serving Justice on the current Supreme Court.

Democrats have been trying to run him off the Court for years.

And Clarence Thomas heard one scary prediction about his future that could change everything.

Donald Trump’s victory saved the Supreme Court from being obliterated

Democrats had the Supreme Court in their crosshairs during Joe Biden’s Presidency because it was on the institution in Washington, D.C. they didn’t control.

The Supreme Court is an obstacle to the most extreme parts of their agenda so Democrats have been hellbent on destroying it.

Vice President Kamala Harris supported a Supreme Court reform scheme introduced by Biden that would place term limits of 18 years on Justices.

That would force Chief Justice John Robert and Associate Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito to retire.

Kamala would have been able to appoint three Justices to flip the Court to a six to three left-wing majority.

Senate Democrats support abolishing the filibuster to pass a term limits bill.

Democrats’ dream of taking over the Supreme Court ended on Election Night when Kamaal went down in flames to defeat and Republicans flipped the Senate.

Big changes could still be in store for the Supreme Court when Trump returns to the White House in January.

Trump’s plan to reshape the Supreme Court for a generation

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley predicted that Justices Thomas and Alito could retire during Trump’s final term.

Thomas is 76 and Alito is 74.

“The Supreme Court dodged a bullet in that you had Democratic senators saying they wanted to pack the Court,” Turley said. “One of them said that Kamala Harris was in support of that plan. That would have really been devastating to the Court. But now, you also have a little more breathing room.”

“For justices like Clarence Thomas, who is getting older, and maybe Samuel Alito, they have a safe harbor period in which they can get a replacement who will be in their jurisprudential views,” Turley continued. “My guess is one or both of them could very well use that. This is a margin that would guarantee that type of transition.”

Trump has an opportunity with a Senate majority that can bypass RINO U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to appoint conservative replacements.

Turley predicted that landmark Supreme Court decisions over the last few years would be made more permanent.

“The other big change, of course, is that many of the things they have done over the last few years are now going to be cemented,” Turley explained. “The issue of abortion will remain with the states. Gun rights will remain robustly defended. So will religious freedom cases. So you’re not going to have a change for at least a decade or so, very likely, in the makeup of the Court as being more conservative.”

Donald Trump appointed three Justices to the Supreme Court during his first term in office.

He could cement a conservative majority on the Court for a generation if he makes two more appointments during his final term.
