It’s rare for the wives of professional athletes to become celebrities in their own right.

But that’s what’s happening in the NFL.

And Brittany Mahomes’ husband had the perfect response to one question about the 2024 election.

Patrick Mahomes asked about Donald Trump

Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the most famous sports stars in the world.

If he retired tomorrow, he would already be a Hall of Famer.

In only six seasons as the starting quarterback, Mahomes has already led the Chiefs to four Super Bowl appearances and three victories, including one the last February against the San Francisco 49ers.

But Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, has also made headlines.

She became co-owner of the Kansas City Current, a professional women’s soccer franchise.

She posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and has had a public friendship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, as she is dating Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce.

Brittany Mahomes also recently made waves when she liked a social media post from Donald Trump.

When pressured by the “woke” mob, Mahomes doubled down and basically said “sorry not sorry.”

She wrote on social media, “I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”

However, her husband Patrick has taken a more hands-off approach to politics.

He got swept up in the Black Lives Matter scam and appeared in a PSA, but otherwise has stayed out of the political arena.

During a recent press conference, he was asked about his wife’s endorsement of a Trump post, and he did not take the bait from the media.

Mahomes basically said he is staying out of the 2024 race and simply encouraging people to educate themselves and register to vote.

Mahomes said, “I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way. . .I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. . .It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

Mahomes does not make a 2024 endorsement

Mahomes was then asked about his wife seemingly throwing her support behind Trump.

He answered, “I think at the end of the day, it’s about me and my family and how we treat other people. I think you see Brittany does a lot in the community. I do a lot in the community to help bring people up, and give people an opportunity to use their voice. . .In political times, people are going to use stuff here and there, but I can’t let that affect how I go about my business every single day of my life and trying to live it to the best of my ability.”

Democrats and their media allies expect every celebrity to do their bidding.

But not every entertainment star has to have an opinion about politics.
