Donald Trump is expanding his political coalition this election.
He’s finding support in places he never expected.
And this Oscar-winning director’s daughter just made a shocking confession about Donald Trump.
Donald Trump uses Full Metal Jacket clips on the campaign trail
The Biden-Harris administration has turned the military into a sociology experiment by prioritizing wokeness over readiness.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) were injected into the Department of Defense.
Now, soldiers are learning the proper use of pronouns and attending seminars on critical race theory.
The Navy used a drag queen as a social media influencer to help with recruitment.
Every branch of the armed services has failed to meet its recruitment goals after wokeness became a top priority for the brass.
The recruiting shortfalls are becoming a national security issue.
Former President Donald Trump released a video vowing to rid the military of wokeness that used clips from the 1987 Vietnam War drama Full Metal Jacket.
Scenes from the movie where the characters are in basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina are combined with footage of the Biden-Harris administration’s woke military.
The late actor R. Lee Emery – who was an actual Marine drill instructor during Vietnam – is shown playing Gunnery Sergeant Hartman – the movie’s hard-nosed drill instructor – barking orders at the recruits.
Stanley Kubrick’s daughter weighs on Trump using her dad’s movie
Full Metal Jacket was directed by the legendary Stanley Kubrick.
Any time that Trump uses something from the world of entertainment with his Presidential campaign controversy usually ensues.
Numerous musicians have tried to get him to stop playing their music at his rallies.
Kubrick died in 1999 but his daughter gave her blessing to Trump using Full Metal Jacket.
Vivan Kubrick, Stanley’s daughter, composed the score to the Vietnam War classic.
She said that her father would have approved of Trump using the footage.
“I agree in principle that an anti-war movie is incongruous with promoting the idea of a tough non-woke US military and thus war itself – however – these are very dangerous and strange times and thus using this footage is doubtless pure expedience,” Kubrick wrote on social media.
She said that Trump’s desire to avoid conflicts lined up with the movie’s message.
“Because I’m sure the irony of using FMJ footage is not lost on Trump or his team — Trump is always seeking to end wars and use peaceful methods,” Kubrick continued. “However, that’s primarily what FMJ is about, the shocking and complicated paradoxes of human nature.”
Kubrick agreed with Trump and she said her father would have agreed too that woke has no place in the military.
“So I’m going to stick with the idea that FMJ footage was used primarily because of its powerful, realistic portrayal of boot camp, juxtaposed with the entirely demoralizing and inappropriate injection of WOKE ideology into the USA military,” Kubrick continued. “Which I agree with myself and which I’m certain my father would have agreed with.”
She added that she believed her father was a supporter of President Ronald Reagan.
“And if that footage from FMJ helps Trump make the point that the US military needs properly trained, super tough, focused, dedicated warriors, and not introduce the demoralizing effects of woke-ism, and attracting people to join up simply to have their sexual reassignments paid for, then Trump has my blessing,” Vivian wrote.
Donald Trump in a strange turn of events got the support from someone in Hollywood to use their content.
