The FBI has been exposed as a complete mess since the 2016 Election.
It’s in worse shape than anyone realized.
And an FBI agent revealed one terrible secret that made Kash Patel sit up and take notice.
The FBI had deep problems internally
The FBI is no longer hiring the intrepid g-men of yesteryear.
Like everywhere else in the federal government, the hiring standards have been lowered as part of an effort to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Former FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam said that the bureau has been ruined by politics that affect nearly every aspect of the job during an appearance on Newsmax.
Host Carl Higbie asked him about the bumbling by the FBI after the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
“That’s the way they’ve been doing that for a long time, ever since I was in the bureau, back in 2005, all the way back to there,” Gilliam said. “When I got out in 2013, I couldn’t take it anymore.”
The FBI Special Agent in Charge had a nose ring and told reporters at the initial press conference that it wasn’t an act of terrorism.
It was later revealed that the terrorist had an ISIS flag flying on the back of the truck when he went on his rampage.
FBI officials initially claimed that the terrorist who perpetrated the attack had three to four accomplices but later admitted they were people looking for a bar.
“I mean, the reality is they, just like down in New Orleans, a perfect example of what you saw down there, is that the bureau doesn’t think outside the box,” Gilliam explained.
The Left has conquered the FBI
Gilliam said that the caliber of agents declined at the FBI as the Left took over the institution.
“When you add in the mix with that, the political Left that has swarmed through all these agencies like a virus, what you get is people who are unrealistic,” Gilliam said. “They are not qualified for the job, and they recruit other people that are not qualified for the job. And that’s how you end up with this nonsense that you just talked about.”
The FBI worked to purge qualified agents from the bureau over their support for Trump during the Biden administration.
A whistleblower revealed that Trump supporters in the FBI faced the threat of having their security clearance pulled.
Loss of a security clearance is a near-death sentence for the career of anyone working at the FBI.
FBI agents who had the right politics and ticked the right box on a form got promotions even if they were grossly unqualified.
President-elect Donald Trump nominated his former White House official Kash Patel to serve as FBI director.
Patel has a mandate to end the politicization that’s overtaken the bureau’s decision-making.
He also has the challenge of trying to reform the broken culture inside the FBI that’s been allowed to fester for years.
The FBI is a deeply troubled institution in need of a massive overhaul.
