President Joe Biden’s blanket pardon of his son Hunter Biden, after months of claiming he wouldn’t, set off a round of speculation about who else could get one during his final days.

President-elect Donald Trump has suggested that members of the January 6 Committee should be prosecuted for destroying evidence.
A report in Politico claimed that White House counsel Ed Siskel, Biden’s Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, and others discussed having the President issue preemptive pardons to U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), RINO Liz Cheney, and Dr. Anthony Fauci to protect against any potential prosecution by the Trump Justice Department.
Biden broke his silence on potential preemptive pardons during a rare interview with USA Today.
He claimed that he reached any potential pardons during his final days in office and said the decision could come down to who Trump appoints to his administration.
“Well, a little bit of it depends on who he puts in what positions. If in fact, he … here’s how … I was very straightforward with Trump when he got elected,” Biden stammered. “I invited him immediately to the White House. I spent two hours with him.”
Trump has already made all of his appointments to major positions in his cabinet.
“He talked about, he was very complimentary about some of the economic things I had done,” Biden ranted. “And he talked about − he thought I was leaving with a good record, kind of thing. I tried to make it clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive for his interest to go back and try to settle scores.”

USA Today Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page asked if he made a decision on pardons.
“Well, no, I have not. For example, I think there are certain people like, if he were to, I don’t want to name their names. I’ll tell you off the record,” Biden replied. But there are other parties that we’re following through on to determine that, rectifying some of the, correcting powder-cocaine difference, things like that.”
“More traditional kind of pardons,” Page asked.
“Yeah,” Biden replied.
Biden didn’t deny that pardons were on the table for Cheney and Fauci.
One of the names he had to tell the reporter off the record.
Fauci used a private email to conduct government business in order to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
“This is very illegal,” attorney Matthew Hardin who handles FOIA cases told the Daily Caller.
A House Subcommittee referred Cheney to the FBI for investigation after she tampered with a witness to the January 6 Committee.
