Joe Biden’s time in the White House is coming to an end.
He has one last major decision to make before he exits.
And Alina Habba made one scary prediction about Joe Biden’s final move in office.
More pardons could be on the way from Joe Biden
President Joe Biden boasted that no one was above the law when he tried to make it seem like his Justice Department’s witch hunt against President-elect Donald Trump was above board.
He promised the public that Hunter Biden wouldn’t receive a pardon after he was convicted of felony gun charges and pleaded guilty to income tax evasion.
Biden reversed course and issued a sweeping blanket pardon for his son for any and all federal crimes dating back to January 1, 2014.
Hunter took a lucrative job on the board of directors for Ukrainian energy company Burisma in May 2014.
The President’s pardon went well beyond the tax and gun charges that he claimed he was protecting his son from.
Trump attorney Alina Habba predicted that Joe Biden would be handing more pardons before he left office in January during an appearance on Fox News.
“I’ve never seen him smile so much,” Habba said about Joe Biden. “And he’s saying, ‘My hands are off, everybody. I’m still sitting here handing out pardons like they’re tic tacs, and then we’ll be done, and President Trump will be in, but at least I’ll have protected my own.’”
Joe Biden could tie up loose ends before he leaves
Habba said that Biden would hand out pardons to himself and other prominent Democrats to protect themselves from the incoming Trump administration.
“He’s going to pardon himself,” Habba stated. “He’s going to pardon his family, ‘Shifty Schiff,’ Nancy Pelosi, and anybody else who had their hands in the cookie jar.”
Politico reported that top Biden White House officials are floating the idea of handing out blanket pardons to U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), RINO Liz Cheney, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and others they fear could be potential targets of the Trump Justice Department.
“I do not doubt it. So, all we’re hearing is leaks of something we already knew,” Habba explained. “They lied to us during the election, the American people saw through it, and now here we are, pardon after pardon will be handed out, and I assure you of that.”
Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) – the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee – supported Biden handing out a flurry of pardons to protect potential targets of Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel.
Patel wrote a book, Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy, where he called for Biden, Hillary Clinton, and others to be investigated.
“I think that would be a good idea. In fact, I think he should take a look at the book his FBI nominee Kash Patel wrote,” Nadler said. “He should probably pardon everyone on that list.”
Joe Biden could spend the end of his Presidency protecting the Washington, D.C., Swamp from facing a day of reckoning next year.
With his pardon of Hunter, Joe Biden may have stiffened Republicans’ resolve to get to the bottom of the corrupt dealings they accuse those Democrats and RINOs of.
And the irony of it all, is Donald Trump was rumored to be leaning toward pardoning Hunter Biden as an act of graciousness to help the country heal after years of Democrats’ politically-motivated lawfare and weaponization of government against him.
