Trump tries to end the weaponization of the FBI
President Donald Trump sent shockwaves through the Washington, D.C., Swamp when he nominated his former White House official Kash Patel to serve as FBI director.
Democrats and their media allies began using fearmongering over Patel weaponizing the FBI against his enemies to sink his nomination.
Trump tapped Patel for the job because he’s someone who could make major changes to the status quo at the FBI.
U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) called out Democrats during Patel’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee for their phony outrage over his nomination.
“As I’ve listened to my Democratic colleagues in their comments this morning, you can hear the anger and the displeasure with having Kash Patel before us,” Blackburn said. “I think it’s important to realize why Kash Patel is there and why President Trump chose to nominate Kash Patel.”
Blackburn said that the public was sick and tired of the two-tiered justice system and weaponization of the FBI under former President Joe Biden.
She slammed Democrats for sitting by while the FBI was deployed against parents protesting Marxist indoctrination at school board meetings and conservative Catholics.
“While my colleagues may be upset for today, I think it’s important to note that they sat silently while you had parents and people of faith, and so many that were being confronted,” Blackburn stated. “And this happened over and over and over.”
Kash Patel exposed FBI corruption once before
Blackburn pointed out that Patel would work with Attorney General Pam Bondi to help restore the rule of law.
“Now, when Mr. Patel was before us, before I started my questioning, I asked him a question that came from listening to my Democratic colleagues as they were questioning him,” Blackburn explained. “And it was, why do the Democrats fear him? Why do they fear him?”
“And I think the answer is so very apparent. They fear him because, yes, indeed, he is out of the box. They fear him because of what he knows about Russia collusion, what he knows about some of the activity that has taken place,” Blackburn added.
Patel served as a staffer on the House Intelligence Committee under former Chairmen Devin Nunes (R-CA) where he helped expose the Russian collusion hoax in 2018 and the FBI’s role in perpetrating it.
“They fear him because he is going to return the FBI to its core mission, investigating violent crimes and keeping our nation safe,” Blackburn said. “Now, I’m pleased that he’s going to focus on violent crime. We know that, under President Trump, violent crime was down 17 percent.”
Kash Patel wants to end the weaponization of the FBI and focus the bureau’s efforts on stopping the crime wave Biden created.
Democrats are terrified of the status quo being disrupted and the FBI no longer doing the bidding of the party.
