Former Mike Pence aide runs smear campaign in the media against Kash Patel
President-elect Donald Trump set off an earthquake in Washington, D.C. when he nominated former acting Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel to be the next FBI director.
He was picked to make real changes at the politicized FBI.
Patel is a victim of the politics of personal destruction as the political establishment tries to sink his nomination through character assassination.
RINO Olivia Troye worked for former Vice President Mike Pence before she became a cable news Republican who only attacks her party.
She campaigned for Vice President Kamala Harris and has become a regular talking head on CNN and MSNBC bashing Trump.
Troye pushed the false narrative coming from Democrats and their media allies that Patel is a dangerous pick to lead the FBI.
She went on MSNBC and claimed that when she worked in the first Trump administration Patel lied about intelligence and put Navy SEALs operating in Nigeria in danger.
No evidence was provided to back up these outlandish accusations.
Troye is being used as a former Pence staffer to add an insider perspective to the coordinated smear campaign against Patel.
Patel’s attorney fired off a letter threatening to sue her for defamation unless she retracted her false claims.
“This is a complete fabrication, and you know it is false by virtue of your former position in the White House,” Patel’s attorney Jesse Binnall wrote. “At no point did Mr. Patel ever lie about national intelligence, place Navy Seals at risk, or misinform the Vice President. “Not only did you have actual knowledge of the falsity of this smear, but you also did so with the malicious intent of degrading his character and of cynical self-promotion.”

A letter from Patel’s attorney wasn’t enough to stop Troye from going on TV and continuing her campaign to protect the Deep State.
CNN host Jim Acosta asked her if the threat of a lawsuit would get her to walk back her claims.
“What does that even tell you that even before his confirmation hearings, he is threatening you for criticizing him?” Costa asked.
A smear campaign is far beyond criticism as Costa well knows.
“Yeah, I think it’s a very clear sign of what’s to come,” Troye claimed. “I think by doing what he did, by sending that letter to me, it was an attempt to bully me, silence me, intimidate me. But it’s also a signal to others, right as he goes into the confirmation process of trying to silence others in terms of telling the truth about his background. I mean, look, I am a person who believes that he is unfit for the role of FBI director.”
Troye vowed that she wouldn’t retract any of the lies she told about Patel.
The Washington, D.C., Swamp is going to throw everything but the kitchen sink at Kash Patel to torpedo his nomination.
