Donald Trump did more than just win the Electoral College and the popular vote.
He gained support in unsuspecting places.
And a Hollywood actress shared one Trump message that sent liberals over the edge.
Trump broke the pall of silence
Over the past eight years, there has been a relentless demonization of Donald Trump by Democrats and their media allies.
The purpose is twofold.
First, it justifies all of the lawfare and investigations and subversion orchestrated by the establishment.
The constant demonization also creates a chilling effect where people are afraid to be associated with Trump in any way.
It gives the illusion that nobody supports Trump and his agenda.
But that is not true, and it was proven to be not true when Trump won a mandate in the 2024 Presidential election.
He picked up support from almost every single demographic.
Trump is even getting more vocal support from public figures.
For example, Hollywood actress Justine Bateman, who starred in the 1980s sitcom Family Ties, strongly indicated that she voted for Trump.

Since Trump’s victory, Bateman has been hilariously critiquing far-left meltdown videos from the perspective of a film director.

And Bateman recently promoted a message from Trump discussing how his second administration will protect free speech.
Trump said, “If we don’t have free speech, then we just don’t have a free country. It’s as simple as that. If this most fundamental right is allowed to perish, then the rest of our rights and liberties will topple. Just like dominoes, one by one, they’ll go down. That’s why today I’m announcing my plan to shatter the left-wing censorship regime and to reclaim the right to free speech for all Americans. And reclaim is a very important word in this case, because they’ve taken it away.”
Bateman responded, “Think what you want about him, but this is a different tone than 2016 and 2020. Free Speech protections will help all Americans.”

In other messages, Bateman has spoken out against “wokeness” and how it has strangled people into silence.
She said that people were “decompressing from walking on eggshells for the past four years.”
Bateman also wrote on social media, “In 2020, the Democratic Party was overthrown by the Woke Party. And the Woke Party has run the country for the past four years. It produced negative results. That experiment is over. The Woke Party can take its place in the American political graveyard with the Whigs and the Federalists. It’s over.”
Bateman is partly correct.
Wokeness is not over.
Far from it.
The same far-left radicals are still entrenched in Hollywood, journalism, and most importantly in education.
The universities are completely captured.
They churn out the next generation of professors, K-12 teachers, journalists, lawyers, et cetera.
And the teachers’ unions are chock-full of these “woke” foot soldiers.
The work is only beginning.
People need to understand just how deep the rot goes so the roots of wokeness can be extracted.
But it’s a great sign that someone in the far-left environment of Hollywood can speak out.
