Treasury secretaries gang up on Trump
In 2016, Donald Trump promised to “drain the Swamp,” but he did not yet realize just how deep the Washington, D.C., Swamp ran.
The first two years of his first term were bogged down with the Russiagate nonsense orchestrated by the Deep State.
And over the past few years, Trump has been hit with unprecedented levels of lawfare.
But now that Trump is back in the White House, he’s taking a chainsaw to Permanent Washington.
He is uncovering all of the shady funding mechanisms that keep globalist elites in power, and they are freaking out.
That’s why five former Treasury secretaries penned a New York Times op-ed denouncing Trump and Elon Musk’s DOGE team in their efforts to root out waste, fraud, and abuse.
Larry Summers, Robert Rubin, Tim Geithner, Jacob Lew, and Janet Yellen all pleaded to stop the head of the Executive Branch from managing the Executive Branch.
They wrote, “The Trump administration may seek to change the law and alter what spending Congress appropriates, as administrations before it have done as well. And should the law change, it will be the role of the executive branch to execute those changes. But it is not for the Treasury Department or the administration to decide which of our congressionally approved commitments to fulfill and which to cast aside.”
The Left has screamed for years that Trump is a dictator, yet they are attempting to stop him from reducing the power of the branch of government that he controls.
The Times op-ed continued, “Many people and entities depend on Treasury’s faithful disbursement of federal funds: Social Security checks arrive each month. Veterans receive their benefits. Medicare providers are reimbursed. Federal workers, members of the military and businesses that provide goods and services to the government are all paid on time and in full. Holders of outstanding federal debt receive interest payments. People often rely on these funds for survival, making any risk of their cutoff or delay existential.”
Lies about federal spending
Democrats are trying to trick people into thinking that Trump is stopping Social Security checks from being disbursed.
In reality, the Trump administration and the DOGE team are turning off the money faucet for unaccountable dark money agencies like the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Summers was also the target of a “woke” cancel mob.
When he was the president of Harvard, Summers was skewered for saying that men and women might have different aptitudes which results in them going into different fields.
For this heresy, he was forced to resign from Harvard, and it cost him the opportunity to return to his role as Treasury Secretary.
Despite the meltdowns from the Democrats, the Deep State has already been damaged severely.
