The media is desperate to manufacture another scandal against Donald Trump’s administration.

But their latest attempt just blew up in their faces spectacularly.

And Karoline Leavitt silenced the media with just seven words that left them fuming.

White House press secretary shuts down “Signalgate” witch hunt once and for all

The liberal media has been working overtime to turn a simple messaging app mistake into a full-blown national security crisis.

When Trump administration officials accidentally added The Atlantic’s editor Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal group chat discussing military operations, leftists across Washington immediately began demanding resignations and investigations.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wasn’t having any of it. During Monday’s press briefing, she dismantled the entire narrative with a simple declaration that has Democrats and their media allies absolutely seething.

“This case has been closed here at the White House, as far as we are concerned,” Leavitt told the press corps firmly.

She didn’t stop there, explaining that the administration had already addressed the situation internally.

“There have been steps made to make sure that something like that can obviously never happen again, and we are moving forward,” Leavitt added.

Her no-nonsense approach echoed President Trump’s own stance on the issue, refusing to cave to pressure from Democrats who have been desperately trying to use the incident to force out key members of Trump’s national security team.

Democrats demand blood over simple mistake while ignoring real national security threats

The so-called “Signalgate” controversy began when National Security Adviser Mike Waltz accidentally added Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal group chat. The chat included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth sharing information about plans to strike Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Democrats immediately pounced, demanding Waltz’s resignation and calling for criminal investigations. They acted as if this simple error was somehow worse than Hillary Clinton’s private email server or Joe Biden keeping classified documents in his garage.

The hypocrisy is stunning but hardly surprising.

Attorney General Pam Bondi quickly shut down speculation about potential legal action, clarifying that the shared information was sensitive but not classified.

“It was sensitive information, not classified, and inadvertently released,” Bondi told reporters last week.

This measured response hasn’t stopped Democrats from trying to milk the situation for all it’s worth. They’ve continued pressing for investigations and resignations, desperate to claim a scalp from the Trump administration.

Trump stands firmly behind his team as media witch hunt fizzles

President Trump has refused to throw his team under the bus, standing firmly behind Mike Waltz and Pete Hegseth despite the media pressure campaign.

Trump called the whole controversy exactly what it is – a “Witch Hunt” by the “Radical Left” and their media allies.

He’s right to dismiss it. This administration has delivered one of “the most successful ‘First One Hundred Presidential Days’ in the history of America,” Trump stated.

Democrats and RINOS can’t stand it

While some Republicans in the party’s RINO wing, like Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma, have broken ranks to call for an independent investigation, most have recognized this for what it is – a tempest in a teapot.

The real story here isn’t about Signal chats or military planning. It’s about how effectively the Trump administration has dismantled the administrative state in record time.

Democrats and their media allies are desperate for any distraction from Trump’s phenomenal success in implementing his America First agenda.

When the White House can confidently declare a media-manufactured crisis “closed” and move on, it demonstrates just how impotent the opposition has become.

Leavitt’s dismissal of the media’s latest attempted ‘gotcha’ questions shows the stark difference between this administration and previous ones. Rather than allowing the media to dictate the narrative, Trump’s team is setting it.

This White House understands that Americans elected Trump to deliver results, not to engage in endless media cycles about manufactured controversies.

The American people are far more concerned with border security, inflation, and foreign policy than they are with those who got accidentally added to a messaging app group.

As the administration continues implementing its agenda at breakneck speed, expect more desperate attempts by the media to manufacture scandals.

But if Karoline Leavitt’s handling of this situation is any indication, those attempts will continue to fall flat.
