Donald Trump’s administration is under constant attack from the Left.

But there are still many Republicans that want to see Trump fail.

And J.D. Vance blasted one cowardly attack from establishment RINOs.

Vance criticized for his Signal chat messages

The so-called mainstream media can’t get enough of Signal Gate.

National Security Adviser Mike Waltz created a group chat on the Signal app, and added many high-ranking members of the Trump administration, including Vice President J.D. Vance.

Waltz also accidentally added Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic and a rabid anti-Trump journalist.

Waltz claimed that he had no idea how Goldberg got added because he did not have his contact in his phone, which was a dubious assertion.

Nevertheless, the Trump officials discussed a bombing campaign against the Houthis in Yemen, and Vance was not enthusiastic about it.

The Houthis began attacking ships traveling through the Suez Canal after the end of the ceasefire in the war in Gaza.

Vance pointed out that only 3% of U.S. goods travel through Suez, but 40% of European goods do.

Vance questioned why America was bombing the Houthis on behalf of European countries that didin’t want to pay for their own defense.

The “problem” with Vance

Vance’s posture in the Signal chat angered many war-mongering establishment Republicans, who attacked him anonymously in a Jewish Insider piece.

One of the Senate Republicans said, “They think it’s quite revealing. It reveals a mindset that I’m sure is perplexing to our European allies” and added that Vance’s view was “very disappointing.”

Another RINO said, “It was shocking to me that he didn’t see the need to strike back when they struck our naval vessels. That’s not a British problem or a European problem. . .Frankly, them striking our friends in Israel is more than enough justification.”

Another told the publication, “I’ve gotta wonder if Trump’s looking at this and going, ‘What have I done?’”

In response to the hit piece, Vance wrote on social media, “This morning, Josh Kraushaar ran a hit piece against me in Jewish Insider, which has become an anti-JD rag. It has many problems, including seven anonymous quotes from cowardly Republicans.”

Vance added substantive criticism of the piece, pointing out a factual error.

He continued, “But the most glaring factual error is the below, which says the Houthis killed three Americans last January. Actually, the group responsible for that attack was ‘Islamic Resistance in Iraq,’ which is an entirely different militia group. Now, you might say this is evidence of Kraushaar being the biggest hack in Washington, and you *may* be correct. Another very plausible explanation is that he’s the dumbest journalist in Washington. Either way, shocking an error like this could get through his vaunted editorial process!”

Vance is not liked by establishment Republicans, which is a big reason why Trump selected him to be Vice President.

In 2016, Vance was in the Never Trump camp, but he has since changed his views.

Donald Trump, Jr. also called out the anonymous Republicans who took shots at Vance.

The anonymous attack on Vance is proof that many establishment Republicans are hoping that they can reclaim the party once Donald Trump is gone.
