The media created another hoax to attack Donald Trump.

One journalist thought she could play gotcha.

And a Trump official turned the tables on a CNN hack with one devastating question.

The media creates another phony Trump scandal

The media went back to its playbook from President Donald Trump’s first term by trying to invent a scandal.

Somehow National Security Adviser Michael Waltz added Atlantic magazine editor Jeffrey Goldberg to a group chat of Trump administration national security officials on the secure messaging app Signal.

Vice President J.D. Vance, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and about a dozen officials were in a group chat discussing the military strike on Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

Houthi terrorists have been attacking American and international cargo ships in the Red Sea.

Goldberg claimed without evidence that top secret classified war plans were shared in the chat without evidence.

And a media-manufactured scandal was born.

Goldberg is the same left-wing who created the hoax that Trump called soldiers “suckers and losers” during his first term.

Even Never Trumpers who served in the first administration like former National Security official John Bolton denied that it happened.

Deep State agents and national security types constantly tried to manufacture scandals during Trump’s first term by feeding bogus info to the press.

The legacy media treated Signal-Gate as a massive scandal that dominated every segment for days.

No classified info was shared in the chat but Democrats and journalists treated this phony scandal as an impeachment-worthy event that demanded investigations.

VA Secretary dismantles a CNN host over phony scandal

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins appeared on CNN’s The Source where host Kaitlan Collins tried to grill him about Signal-Gate.

“You served in the Navy, and the Air Force. How would you have felt if information like this was talked about, in an unclassified group chat, if a Navy fighter pilot is in the air?” Kaitlan Collins asked.

Collins tried to politely avoid being drawn into her game.

“I think the President and those involved in the chat, which I was not involved in the chat, have explained that. I trust the President’s opinion on that. I trust what’s been going on,” Doug Collins said.

The CNN host wouldn’t quit and asked him about again trying to trap him with a gotcha question to condemn the administration.

“Kaitlan, as I’ve just told you, I’ve just answered the question. I wasn’t part of it. And I’m not going to speculate more than what the President’s already talked about,” Doug Collins stated.

But she wouldn’t quit and asked a third time about Signal.

“Kaitlan, since you undoubtedly do not want to talk about the V.A. I have a question, as V.A. Secretary, as Cabinet, I want to ask you, because I’ve been curious about this, because my job is to take care of veterans,” Doug Collins said. “And I would like to know why CNN is hostile to veterans, especially one in Florida, where you just had a $5 million defamation suit, taking offense at a veteran who was trying to help people. In fact, one of your employees actually said, We’re going to nail him.”

CNN lost a defamation case after the network lied about a former Navy SEAL who was rescuing people after the fall of Afghanistan in 2021 by claiming he was a criminal.

For the rest of the interview, Kaitlan Collins dodged the question about CNN’s lawsuit.

Doug Collins wasn’t going to be sucked into a gotcha moment by CNN.
