The fake news media is getting desperate to smear Trump officials.
Journalists aren’t even hiding their left-wing political activism.
And Tulsi Gabbard was smeared by MSNBC with one big lie but what happened next left her speechless.
AP fabricates a Tulsi Gabbard quote to push the Russian collusion hoax
The Associated Press (AP) went back to their playbook from President Donald Trump’s first term to suggest that he was in cahoots with the Russians.
AP journalists were banned from the Oval Office and Air Force One by the Trump White House after the outlet refused to use the Gulf of America name after Trump renamed the Gulf of Mexico with an executive order.
The outlet confirmed why they’re partisan hacks and deserved to be banned from the White House with a smear job against Trump.
An AP story falsely claimed that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are “very good friends” during an interview with an Indian TV network.
“Gabbard Says Trump And Putin Are ‘Very Good Friends’ Focused On Strengthening Ties,” the headline for the AP story read.
A correction was later issued that said Gabbard was referring to Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This is a common tactic in the media to spread a smear.
Print a false story that circulates throughout the media and issue a retraction later that few people ever see.
MSNBC forced to admit they pushed fake news
Gabbard has been smeared for years by Democrats, the Republican establishment, and the media as a puppet of Putin over her opposition to endless foreign wars.
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle and Washington Post contributor Jonathan Capehart couldn’t resist jumping on the AP’s bogus story on Trump being friends with Putin.
Both of them have baselessly claimed that Gabbard was a Russian asset.
Gabbard claiming that Trump and Putin were friends was like catnip to them.
But that was too big a lie for even MSNBC to tell on air.
MSNBC host Ali Velshi issued an on-air correction with a pained look on his face.
“The Last Night reported on excerpts of an interview between the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and an Indian TV news network in which she said that Trump was good friends with the world leader. Now we said that the world leader was Vladimir Putin, but the full interview was subsequently released and it showed that Gabbard was referring to Donald Trump and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” a glum Velshi confessed.
A sad Rhule was forced by the network to make a correction on her show.
“Last night, we reported on excerpts of an interview between the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard and an Indian TV news network in which she said that Trump was good friends with a world leader,” Ruhle said. “Now we said that world leader was Vladimir Putin, but the full interview shows that Gabbard was referring to Trump and Indian Prime Minister Modi. We cleared that up.”
Some lies are so egregious that MSNBC can’t get away with spreading them to their dwindling viewership.
