Josh Hawley cozies up to Big Labor in a misguided attempt to help workers
President Donald Trump turned in a historic performance with union workers in the 2024 Election that helped with a clean sweep on the Rust Belt battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Big Labor has claimed to be a friend of the working man but they use the union dues ripped from their members’ paychecks to elect Democrats.
Trump won historic support from rank-and-file union members despite their unions backing former Vice President Kamala Harris.
U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) claims that he’s interested in helping workers and reorienting the GOP into becoming a more blue-collar party.
But his solution was to help the Union Bosses by supporting labor reform legislation that would give them more power and take it away from the workers they claim to represent.
Hawley is trying to sell other Republicans on buying into this scheme that would help Democrats and Big Labor.
Trump won union voters by promising to help them, not the Union Bosses.
Josh Hawley’s union allies protest DOGE
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has sent Democrats into a frenzy after exposing wasteful spending on woke foreign aid by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) which led to Trump shutting down the agency.
Hawley told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that “liberals are losing their minds” over DOGE exposing wasteful spending.
“They’re panicking big time, Laura, because their power base is being threatened,” Hawley said. “That’s what’s really going on here. I mean, look at what they’re doing over USAID.”
“That includes billions and billions of taxpayer dollars that have gone, yeah, to fund outrageous stuff overseas like trans-affirming projects in Zimbabwe or whatever,” Hawley continued. “But also let’s not forget to fund their preferred media outlets like Politico and who knows what other left-wing rags have been getting money, federal government money from this agency, and there’s been no accountability.”
Hawley seems to be trying to get out in front of his own USAID links being exposed
Hawley correctly accused the Left of using USAID as a personal piggybank but some were quick to note Hawley’s hypocritical support for top USAID figures, like union bosses.
Congressional Democrats and left-wing groups have been holding protests against Musk and DOGE to get them out of the government.
“So yes, what’s happening is Trump is exposing all of this,” Hawley stated. “He is cutting off the liberal supply chains, as it were, and the liberals are just losing their minds. They’re totally losing their minds.”
The protesters who are losing their minds are Hawley’s allies in Big Labor.

Union protestors were outside of the Department of Labor demanding that Musk and DOGE had to go.
It’s no surprise that this was happening as DOGE figures were calling out the deep ties between USAID and union bosses.

National Right to Work blasts Hawley
The leading organization fighting union bosses’ coercion, corruption and forced-dues-funded political warfare, the National Right to Work Committee, has been calling out Josh Hawley’s hypocrisy and support of Big Labor’s socialist left-wing agenda.
“This is why Republicans like Josh Hawley who want to suck up to left-wing union bosses are so misguided. You don’t attract hard working, rank and file patriotic American workers by bowing down to the socialist union bosses those workers are forced to fund,” National Right to Work Vice President Matt Leen blasted.
Hawley got in bed with people who opposed the things he claimed to believe in.
“So here’s their message, I guess, Laura, to the American people, which is that ‘Yes, we would love to waste your money. We’d like to take all of your money. We don’t want to spend it on America. We don’t want you to have better jobs. We don’t want you to have higher wages. We don’t want you to have a secure border. We’d love to go spend it overseas, promoting the left-wing transgender policies. We want to make sure that the trans flag is flying everywhere,’” Hawley said.
Josh Hawley backs that left-wing agenda to the hilt by trying to hand more money and power to Big Labor to make all of those bad things happen.
