Entertainment celebrities are obsessed with their image.
That’s why they jump on social trends as quickly as they can.
And a Hollywood actress who tried to virtue-signal just got slapped in the face with reality.
Selena Gomez loses followers
Actress Selena Gomez is getting roasted for sharing a video where she was crying over illegal aliens getting deported from the country.
Gomez said, “All my people are getting attacked, the children. . .I don’t understand. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something but I can’t.”
Gomez was born in the United States, but her father is Mexican; Gomez, however, was raised by her mother (of Italian descent) after her parents divorced when she was five years old.

Gomez pulled down the video after getting mocked by fans who were not moved by her cringeworthy video.
She wrote on Instagram, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.”
But the story did not end there.
She lost tons of fans after her outburst.
The Daily Mail reported that “Selena Gomez has reportedly lost a whopping 707,880 Instagram followers in the last 30 days amid backlash for her emotional deportation video and record breaking Oscar nominations for her panned movie Emilia Pérez. . .The songstress, 32, has a jaw-dropping 422M followers making her the most followed woman on the platform since dethroning Kylie Jenner, 27, in March 2023, but now that accolade could be in jeopardy . . . Meanwhile musical Emilia Pérez has been slapped with brutal fan reviews, despite its 13 Academy Award nominations, with the actress’ Spanish language skills also blasted.”
Backlash for Gomez
Gomez along with everyone else associated with the musical Emilia Pérez have been getting absolutely destroyed by film critics in alternative media.
The film, which is a musical about a brutal Mexican drug cartel boss who transitions from male to female and goes into hiding, was seemingly showered with praise because of its political middle finger to Donald Trump.
However, now that more people are actually watching it, people on both sides of the aisle are absolutely savaging the movie.
And with good reason because it is truly awful.

Another person who was not impressed by Gomez’s video was border czar Tom Homan.
He responded, “She is a hypocrite cry over the missing children, the fentanyl, the murders.”
The Trump administration has been prioritizing the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, so Gomez crying over them was a particularly bad look.
Homan also said during a Fox News interview, “If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law. . .We’re going to do this operation without apology. We’re gonna make our community safer. . .It is all for the good of this nation. And we’re gonna keep going. No apologies. We’re moving forward.”
Back in 2017, the Left was able to muster enough outrage to stymie Trump’s agenda.
However, #TheResistance has largely been weak the second time around.
Democrats don’t really believe the propaganda that they’re pushing.
