The American public sent Donald Trump to Washington, D.C. with a mandate.
Democrats and RINOs already proved they will do anything to try and stop him.
But Tulsi Gabbard obliterated Senate Democrats with one brutal truth bomb.
Tulsi Gabbard sent shockwaves across Washington, D.C. during tense hearing
Donald Trump has returned to the White House, and has wasted no time in implementing his agenda.
However, Democrats and some “establishment” Republicans have doubled down on their mission to thwart President Donald Trump.
In the United States Senate, confirmation hearings for Donald Trump’s cabinet picks provided plenty of fireworks over the last couple of weeks.
During these hearings, radical Democrats and establishment RINOs have worked to prevent the confirmation of several cabinet nominees.
Donald Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence (DNI), former member of Congress Tulsi Gabbard, has faced stiff resistance from anti-Trump forces in the Senate.
Last Thursday, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, who infamously blew the lid on the federal government’s warrantless spying on American citizens, came up.
Much to the chagrin of certain Senators, Gabbard refused to condemn Snowder for sounding the alarm on the illegal weaponization of government spying against law-abiding Americans.
Gabbard repeatedly defended Snowden, a former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor who leaked classified information and blew the whistle on practices that he believed violated the rights of American citizens.
Snowden accused the federal government of spying on Americans without the use of warrants or probable cause.
Virtually every American citizen had their phone records, emails, and internet activity hoovered up illegally by the federal government.
Senator James Lankford (RINO-OK) brought up the topic of Edward Snowden, flatly asking Tulsi Gabbard, “So, was Edward Snowden a traitor?”
“I am focused on the future and how we can prevent something like this from happening again,” Trump’s DNI nominee maintained.
Gabbard then admitted that Snowden violated the letter of the law, but added that he “released information that exposed egregious, illegal and unconstitutional programs.”
Senator Michael Bennet (D- CO) then piled on, asking Gabbard, “Let me ask you again, do you believe — as the chairman of this committee believes, as the vast majority of members of our intelligence agencies believe — that Edward Snowden was a traitor to the United States of America?”
“This is when the rubber hits the road. This is not a moment for social media,” Gabbard retorted.
Gabbard confirmation hearing reveals a disturbing truth in Washington, D.C.
In 2013, Edward Snowden revealed terrifying details about how federal government employees operate, weaponizing the government against law-abiding American citizens.
Rather than address the concerns that Snowden’s revelations raised, many lawmakers in Washington, D.C. care more about vilifying him, and silencing people who dare to speak up about the disturbing practices he exposed.
As Tulsi Gabbard noted, Edward Snowden uncovered things which should concern every American, and Congress owes it to the American public to correct the federal government’s behavior.
