Democrats couldn’t stop Donald Trump from reclaiming the White House in the 2024 election.
The next step is to resist the second Trump Presidency and deny the President-elect his hand-picked team.
But attacks against Pete Hegseth just backfired and exposed these embarrassing secrets about Senate Democrats.
Donald Trump is scheduled to be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States in just a matter of days.
In preparation, the President-elect’s nominated cabinet is now participating in the confirmation process.
Democrats Senators are using the confirmation hearings as an opportunity to showcase to their radical base just how “tough” they’ll be resisting Trump’s America First agenda.
First up, was one of the Trump picks Democrats found most egregious – Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.

The female Democrat Senators, especially, were quite triggered and enraged by Hegseth’s testimony.
The likes of Senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, and Mazie Hirono of Hawaii shouted at Hegseth and launched personal attacks.
Their chief complaints were about a supposed lack of “qualifications,” Hegseth’s divorce, and the fact that he likes the occasional non-Bud Light brew.
Hegseth calmly took all the fire from the extreme leftists and coolly remained professional in his responses.
However, Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) wasn’t about to let his colleagues across the aisle get away with their grandstanding tactics.
Senator Markwayne Mullin calls out Democrat hypocrisy
Senator Mullin knows something about fighting.
He retired from mixed martial arts with a 3-0 record for the Xtreme Fighting League – with two submissions and a technical knockout.
But Democrats on the Senate Armed Services Committee were only on the receiving end of a verbal beating from the Sooner State U.S. Senator.

Turning Points USA founder Charlie Kirk called Mullin’s performance “powerful,” and an “absolute masterclass,” that is a “must watch.”
Mullin used his time to point out the Democrats were playing a game of rules for thee but not for me.
He reminded viewers that President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had to get a special exemption because he was on the board of Raytheon, and that Hegseth is every bit as qualified to be Defense Secretary as any of the Democrats are to be Senators.
But Mullin took most offense to the personal attacks Democrats were waging against Hegseth.
“The Senator from Virginia (Democrat Tim Kaine) starts bringing up the fact that, ‘what if you showed up drunk to your job?’ How many senators showed up drunk to vote at night,” Mullin asked rhetorically. “Have any of you guys asked them to step down and resign from their job? Don’t tell me you haven’t seen it because I know you have! And then how many Senators do you know have got a divorce for cheating on their wives? Did you asked those senators to step down? No. But you did it for show. You guys make a big show . . . The man [Pete Hegseth] made a mistake, and you wanna sit there and say he’s not qualified? Give me a joke. You guys hold yourselves to this ‘higher standard’ and yet you have a big plank in your eye.”
Pete Hegseth is highly qualified
As for Hegseth’s qualifications – they’re vast.
Senator Warren would have you believe Hegseth is merely a “Fox & Friends weekend co-host.
Pete Hegseth is literally a combat veteran with 2 bronze stars who led a squadron in Baghdad. He’s worked on veterans issues ever since and he’s also a Princeton + Harvard graduate. You do NOT respect our troops or you wouldn’t disrespect Pete by calling him just a Fox host.

The fact is, Hegseth is a Princeton and Harvard graduate, who — more importantly — served in the U.S. Army for two decades.
Furthermore, he received high honors for his time in the military.
Hegseth was honored with two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
And Hegseth didn’t spend his service time hanging out in the Capital.
Instead, he served tours in Guantanamo Bay, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Hegseth has led efforts at two different veterans’ advocacy organizations.
