As Americans everywhere celebrated the New Year, revelers on New Orleans’s Bourbon Street had to fight for their lives after a horrific terrorist attack unfolded.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove his pickup truck down this busy street, killing 15 and injuring many more.
He then opened fire on police officers before getting mowed down.
Upon closer inspection, investigators found an ISIS flag in this former military member’s pickup truck.
On the other side of the country, former Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger blew up a Tesla Truck in front of the Trump Hotel. Only he died in this attempted attack.
These terrifying attacks have the American public on edge, with many wondering how these former military members could become deranged terrorists.
Meanwhile, MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell used these attacks to attack conservatives and defend open borders.
Last Thursday, O’Donnell stated, “The simple fact is, this country has suffered more deadly terrorism at the hands of American-born citizens who are Veterans of the United States military than people who have crossed into this country at the southern border.”
“It is very clear from the evidence that if you want to worry about terrorism in this country, the United States Army is a much bigger problem than the southern border,” the MSNBC host added.
He then took aim at incoming President Donald Trump, telling his handful of viewers, “But when Donald Trump sees the type of terrorist attack that occurred in New Orleans, he doesn’t remember Timothy McVeigh and, instead, he blames the criminals that he imagines are crossing the southern border.”
These shameful remarks about Veterans come after an FBI field agent claimed that the attack in New Orleans had nothing to do with terrorism.
More specifically, FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Alethea Duncan stated, “We’ll be taking over the investigative lead for this event. This is not a terrorist event,” shortly after the horrifying attack unfolded.
