Hunter Biden’s pardon was about protecting the Biden crime family
President Joe Biden issued the most sweeping pardon since President Richard Nixon for his son.
Hunter Biden pled guilty to tax crimes related to income evasion and was convicted by a jury of felony charges for lying about his illegal drug use on a federal background form for a handgun.
The President pardoned him for all federal crimes dating back to January 1, 2014.
Hunter became a member of the board of directors for the Ukrainian energy company Burisma in the spring of 2014.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) called Joe Biden the “real crook” after he pardoned his son on his podcast Verdict.
“Never mind about the corruption, never mind about the gun offenses, never mind about the drug offenses, never mind about the tax offenses,” Cruz said. “No man is above the law unless your name is Joe Biden and the entire Biden family.”
Biden boasted that no one was above the law when the Supreme Court issued its Presidential immunity decision this summer.
“No one is above the law, not even the President of the United States,” Biden claimed in June.
Democrats and the media push a false narrative about Hunter Biden
Democrats and their media allies portray the President’s son as a helpless drug addict whose bad decisions came from his struggles with addiction.
The 54-year-old Yale-educated attorney is treated like he’s someone who’s in his 20s whose life got off track.
Cruz ripped the false narrative that Hunter is “some lonely crackhead who just sort of went astray.”
“That’s what Joe Biden and the entire White House has tried to paint him as,” Cruz explained. “Hunter Biden’s business was selling access to daddy. The real crook here is Joe Biden.”
Hunter’s pardon covers when he was running his influence-peddling scheme in Ukraine, China, Romania, and other foreign countries.
“The Biden family, they made tens of millions of dollars selling favors from Joe Biden,” Cruz stated. “Listen, nobody pays Hunter Biden. Nobody pays a crack head money when he has no marketable services. He was not selling anything other than daddy.”
“When Joe Biden entered this pardon, it is about protecting his own rear end,” Cruz added.
The IRS shut down any lines of investigation during the Hunter Biden probe that would lead to Joe Biden.
His pardon shutdowns what could be the only chance to connect the President to his son’s influence peddling.
Cruz took credit for raising hell over the sweetheart plea deal that the Biden Justice Department gave Hunter Biden.
The deal was blown up by a judge after it gained widespread attention.
“It was indefensible that the plea deal was zero jail time, a slap on the wrist, which Joe Biden said, ‘Well, gosh, that would be fair. Don’t punish my son’,” Cruz said. “And understand, this is not about Hunter. This is about Joe.”
Joe Biden is tying up loose ends for the Biden crime family during his final days in office.
