The entertainment industry has incurable Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Many celebrities went into meltdown mode after his win over Kamala Harris.
But a Hollywood actor made a shocking revelation after he played Donald Trump in a movie.
Actors afraid to talk about Trump
Actor Sebastian Stan recently played Donald Trump in the film The Apprentice.
The movie is markedly anti-Trump and Stan is no fan of the President-elect, but he faced a harsh reality after playing Trump.
Stan said that he was unable to get another actor to discuss the role with him on the Actors on Actors conversation hosted by Variety.
Stan explained, “The amount of love that I’ve received from some of the biggest, in terms of actors, directors, producers, and writers, who have seen the movie, and they rave about it. . .But then, for instance, I had an offer to do Variety Actors on Actors this Friday, and I couldn’t find another actor to do it with me.”
People in Hollywood were afraid to be associated with Trump in any way, even regarding an anti-Trump film.
Stan added, “They were too afraid to go and talk about this movie, so I couldn’t do it. . .That’s not pointing at anyone specific. . .We couldn’t get past the publicists or the people representing them because they were too afraid to talk about this movie.”

Far-left director Adam McKay, who was critical of the Democrats after they embraced Liz Cheney (McKay directed the anti-Dick Cheney film Vice), responded, “This is disgusting. . .The only way we’re going to get through what’s coming is extreme solidarity. This is the exact opposite. Shame on these actors and publicists. Shame.”
Trump not the one “canceling” people
Ironically, Stan—who was born and raised in Romania before immigrating to the United States at 12 years old—said in a previous interview that he was unafraid of retaliation from Trump for the film.
Stan said, “I’ve had a lot of people telling me not to do it. . .I mean, you very well know Jimmy Kimmel asked me if I still have my Romanian passport, based on him [Trump] trying to deport American citizens. As he [Kimmel] just said, ‘Sounds like Europe’s going to be the place’ for me. But yeah, I don’t believe in fear. . .Again, I come from a place where people were silenced and were taught to live in fear. And that was another reason why I was like, ‘I have to do it.’”
Maybe Stan will finally realize that it’s the Left that is silencing people and creating a climate of fear.
Trump is arguably the most scrutinized and criticized man in the world.
He has much bigger things on his plate than retribution against a Hollywood movie.
Everything The Apprentice said about Trump has been said much worse by the media, and even the Deep State that tried to frame him as a Russian spy.
Stan’s lament was confirmed by Variety co-editor Ramin Setoodeh.
He told Deadline, “What Sebastian said is accurate. . .We invited him to participate in Actors on Actors, the biggest franchise of awards season, but other actors didn’t want to pair with him because they didn’t want to talk about Donald Trump.”
Trump’s election victory has already triggered Hollywood
And Sebastian Stan is paying the price.
