Thomas Massie is probably the most principled man in Washington, D.C.
He consistently fights against government overreach.
And Massie called shenanigans on one embarrassing stunt from Merrick Garland’s DOJ.
Massie rips the FBI
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) means it when he says he’s a libertarian.
He’s always looking for ways to cut bureaucracy, end wars, and hold his colleagues accountable when they’re trying to rubber-stamp billions and billions of dollars in ridiculous spending.
Massie is willing to stand up against people in his own party, even Donald Trump, which gained him the respect of Trump.
There have even been rumors that Massie could join Trump’s administration as Secretary of Agriculture.
After Trump’s sweeping election victory, Massie had the perfect response to an infuriating message from the FBI.
The Bureau put out a statement that read, “The FBI is aware of the offensive and racist text messages sent to individuals around the country and is in contact with the Justice Department and other federal authorities on the matter. As always, we encourage members of the public to report threats of physical violence to local law enforcement authorities.”
The FBI is claiming that racist text messages are being sent around the country, whatever that is supposed to mean.
The Deep State is essentially attempting to seed the idea that racism and “MAGA terrorism” is on the rise because of Trump’s victory.
Massie replied, “It’s probably y’all sending them. Pack your bags.”

FBI has destroyed its reputation
The FBI has so damaged its credibility that a sizable portion of the population believes that blatant displays of public racism are the handiwork of some domestic intelligence operation.
For example, when the White Nationalist group Patriot Front marches through streets, often during a bad news cycle for the Democrats, people online call them “Fed Front.”
There is an obvious precedent for this.
The botched kidnapping of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was an FBI operation from top to bottom.
FBI agents or assets planned the whole thing and entrapped locals to participate.
Whitmer was even given advance notice.
The operation flopped when one of the FBI agents was arrested for domestic violence.
Steve D’Antuono, the agent in charge of the Michigan field office at the time of the Whitmer plot, got promoted to the Washington, D.C. field office prior to January 6.
Others called out the FBI for the absurd statement.
Author and political commentator Mollie Hemingway responded, “Are you aware of them because they came from you and your ‘confidential human sources’?
Sean Davis of The Federalist replied, “Every single person involved with this release should lawyer up and start looking for another job. You people are criminals.”
Democrats used to be the party skeptical of the FBI and the CIA.
Now they lap up whatever the intel agencies say because Orange Man is Bad.
The Democrats are suddenly big fans of the Deep State, and they don’t care which rights are violated so long as Trump and his supporters are the target of the abuses.
