Celebrities are getting off the sidelines for the 2024 Election.

Things are playing out like anyone expected.

And Danica Patrick made one surprising confession about 2024 that left J.D. Vance stunned.

Former race car driver Danica Patrick endorses Donald Trump

U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) is taking a nontraditional approach on the campaign trail this year by attending sporting events in swing states.

He made an appearance at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Bank of America Roval 400 for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

The Ohio lawmaker previously held a town hall in Greensboro, North Carolina with retired race car driver Danica Patrick.

Patrick is one of the most famous female race car drivers of all time after competing in NASCAR and the IndyCar series.

She revealed at the event that she was going to support former President Donald Trump this election after previously backing Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. before he dropped out.

The 42-year-old Patrick surprised Vance by revealing that she had never voted before.

“I just want to say I’ve never voted before, but this time around, I have to vote,” Patrick said. “It’s that important.”

Vance wanted to make sure that she was voting for the right ticket in November.

“I just want to be clear. I want to get on record — you’re voting for us, right?” Vance joked.

Patrick told him “1,000%” and wished that she could do it twice.

Vance stepped in to remind her that Republicans are the party of election integrity.

“We don’t do that, we’re Republicans,” Vance said. “We only vote, we vote legally, only one time.”

Patrick is the latest former Kennedy supporter to move into the Trump camp for this election.

She joins Hollywood actor Zachary Levi – who starred in the comic movie Shazam! – as a high-profile former Kennedy supporter to come out in favor of Trump.

Former Kennedy supporters could help shift swing states to Trump

Kennedy dropped out of the Presidential race in August and endorsed Trump at a campaign rally in August.

The independent candidate’s support could make a crucial difference in the swing states that are expected to come down to the wire.

A poll by John Zogby Strategies for American Values 24 – a super PAC that backed Kennedy – found that the majority of the former independent Presidential candidate’s supporters have moved into Trump’s column.

Trump led with Kennedy supporters in the poll over Vice President Kamala Harris by a 22 margin.

Nearly one-third of them were open to potentially supporting the former President in November.

Former Kennedy supporters favored Trump over Kamala by 39% to 20% in five of this year’s Presidential swing states.

“This means that the Kennedy Cohort will play a decisive factor in determining the eventual winner of the 2024 presidential election,” a Kennedy ally told the Washington Examiner.

Everything matters on the margins in a close election.

Trump lost the 2020 Election by about 44,000 votes spread across Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia.

Gaining the support of Kennedy supporters could give Donald Trump a boost in swing state races that come down to the wire.
