Tucker Carlson is no longer on the airwaves after Fox News inexplicably yanked his show despite having the best ratings in cable news.

But new details “previously unreported” have left Fox Corp. honchos with egg on their faces.

Because Fox News Execs’ previously unreported bombshell phone call might have sealed Tucker Carlson’s fate.

Carlson irked not only Democrats and disgruntled RINOS but likely foreign powers

Many have speculated as to why Fox News made the move to abruptly sideline Tucker Carlson even though he had the most watched show on cable news.

It had become clear in recent months that Carlson was a thorn in the side of network leadership, including Fox Board Member Paul Ryan.

The RINO former House Speaker even characterized Carlson as a racist in an interview with Charlie Sykes for a podcast on the Bulwark shortly before Carlson was sidelined.

Ryan responded “I think that was probably just Tucker,” when Sykes asked him about standing up to what he deemed as “toxic sludge, racism, disinformation, and attacks on democracy” at Fox News.

Carlson routinely railed against the GOP establishment, and more importantly the endless wars.

That made Carlson wildly unpopular with the elites.

And it turns out that Rupert Murdoch and son Lachlan both had phone calls with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy mere weeks before Carlson’s outster.

Carlson was heavily critical of Zelenskyy, and Zelenskyy was no fan of the host.

Some have speculated that Zelenskyy might have pressured Fox News to fire Carlson.

Bombshell call record raises question as whether Volodymyr Zelenskyy had an impact on Fox News’ decision

Semafor reported that “Fox News Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch held a previously unreported call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy this spring in which the two discussed the war and the anniversary of the deaths of Fox News journalists last March. The Ukrainian president had a similar conversation with Lachlan Murdoch on March 15, which Zelenskyy noted in a little-noticed aside during a national broadcast last month.”

Semafor also cited a source that claimed Zelenskyy did not raise concerns about Carlson on the call, but the relationship between a wartime head of state and a major news network shows how Carlson was such a nuisance for the people pushing war.

Carlson got into a public spat with House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, one of the more hawkish Republicans regarding Ukraine.

Congressman McCaul sided (R-TX) with the Biden regime, labeled Tucker Carlson’s show “Russian disinformation”

Carlson responded, “In other words, not only are we wrong — which is fine — we are disloyal Americans. We’re doing the bidding of a foreign power…That is not fine, that is slander.”

Getting slandered comes with territory for people who oppose the elites agenda.

Former Congresswoman and Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, who filled in for Carlson on his show after she parted with the Democrats, was smeared as a Russian asset and a “toady” for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad because of her stance against regime-change wars.

A lot of establishment Republicans are breathing easy without Carlson calling them out on a nightly basis.

Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) told the Hill, “There have been some that have argued that he was setting foreign policy for the Republican Party, which I find to be bizarre. Certainly not for me…To the primary [Republican] voter, the active participant, the grassroot voter, he’s a person they listen to and has a big influence.”

Carlson’s noninterventionist stand might have been the final straw for the Murdochs.
